I was not venting against you...but generally against audiences that do not know how to appreciate a quality drama. I was upset because this beauty of a drama only has 7.7/10 while other weaker dramas have close to 9. Its just ridiculous.

Bruh they need to kill the LSM and just call it a day this is getting sooooo annoying.
That is the problem. They can't yet kill him. He was given to much power. He has people around him that will instantely try to kill all of them just to avenge him. Fanatics. Plus it needs to show the growth of the leads...the 4 of them. It would be so much easy to kill him and that is it... but then the story will have no point other then filler. Itw supposed to give a message. I can't understand people this days...some of you see somethimg big in something rather comercial...and something bad, boring or dragging when its supposed to be a GROWTH and a message telling storry. Plus are we going to ingore how hard to play the roles of the leades are? Sejeong basically plays 3 characters with 3 diffremt facial expresions, gestures, DIALECTS. And she has to switch them on command randomly on camera. This is the kind of drama where you actually learn that acting is actually hard and that what makes a great actor is not his or her popularity and good looks but the ability to convey THE MASSAGE that nobody cares about for some reason.

I agree. I must have skiped more then just ep 5 then. As for the romantic hero part...he is not. He also has some serious inner healing to do before becoming anybodys hero.

I sware I watched episode 4 and I never so that. Or did I skip it too? I saw the flashbacks where Doha was visiting. When she confessed to him, when she then confessed to Do Young about liking Doha, and when Do Young left home for a while. But the oart of the emails and letters is m.a.i from my brain. I think I must have skiped more then just episode 5. Serves me right for starting so many on going dramas simultaneously. 😂 I initially thought that meaby, just meaby she did not even knew which twin did she had feeling for exactely. Then I thought she must be seeing Do Young as a brother and Doha as a misterious stranger. But the way she treats him now...igh...I get it she has her own grief but in 6 episodes not even once has she asked him about how he feels. Its not like his life was any easier. He lost the twin he was separated from. His mother remarried, his father leaves through building stuff. And this Wendy is uterly annoying twards Peter Pan wothout any consideration. The story is so clisheic and predictabke at this point. Everything I though It would be its not. And that is a first for me. Usually I have a good eye for plots.

I realised I skiped episode 5 by mistake so just watched it in the hope that I might get more ansewars. I understood now that Ha Gyeong's greif is not just becuase of Do Young but because everybody she loved eather left or died. It was such a bad decision for her to keep leaving in that house. It only destroyed her emotionally. As for the twin switch, still no answear. I still believe its Do Young that its alive and living as Doha. But I might be wrong cause I read here in the comments that they switched for a whole summer....which I have not seen but still....a posibility.

Title Last Summer Spoiler
I am genuinely confused and pissed simultaneously. Confused with the story, pissed with the writers. Pissed with the female lead. And with all this twin switch situation. The only way I see all this shit ending up well and healty its a 25-21 kind of ending. Happy but absolutely NOT togheter. They are toxic, childish and too wounded to help eachother. I am infuriated with her manly because she is so SELF centered I can't. Its HIS twin brother that died. Its his twin brother that he had to leave apart from. She believes she is intitled to grief only becuase she was more close to Do Young. But Baek Do Twins never decided to leave separately. Its was their parents decision. It does not mean it hurts less. He even leaved or still leaves under the indentity of his brother so that she sufferes less. He was never once allowed to cry or to pull any tantrums in this drama. Beacuse she had to be the drama queen. On top of that she feels like she is the one and ONLY one that has to move on. That SML relationship is so freaking stupid. You do not start a relationship with a 3rd party out of spite and without proper healing. Instead of closing herself in Patan and condesing herself into the Peanut house she should seek psihiatrical help. And he is not in his right mind eather....he does not even know what he wants or who he is. Can somebody explain me what the heck happened with the twins? Cause I am genuinely LOST at this chapter. At first I was sure that the one that grew in Korea died and the one that leaved in USA took his place. Last week's episode made me believe it was the other way arround mainly because of the voice overs of Jae Wook that seemed to be Do Young's side. Plus him almost responding to Do young name. But this week's episodes blured everything even worst cause now Jae Wook was voice overing as if he was actually Doha. I think I must have skiped somethink because at this point my brain hurts. Anyway this is officialy the most annoying drama of Lee Jae Wook and again becuase of a stupid scenario. And its a shame cause we have 2 good , beautyfull and expresive leads.

Isn't that the same thing your saying? Like she didn't want him to become a tyrant and said you can't do this…
Not quite the same. She could have told him with exact words what happened in history books yet the way she said it felt like she was leaving the sentence in the air...likem "You cannot do this..." BECAUSE? Like she out of everybody could have stated clearely because she knew his end. She was too robotized in that scene. Plus when everybody bowed she just staed there like a wall. Like as if her standing tall would apease the hart of a child who found out his mother was killed by his grandmother and everybody around him betrayed him badly....

A drama that would make sense....a spinoff idea.... I like that.

On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Sep 27, 2025
I am so confused right now...I feel o mixture of stress and tension cause I really leaved big time ep 11, but at the same time I fill pissed because of ALL THE WAYS in which this story could have been less of a mess. Its like throw all the tropes into one massive soup and see if it tastes other then bitter. First things first we have Ji Yeon comming from the feature and knowing by heart the story of the tyrant yet doing nothing but accepting stupid cooking competitions in the name of palace politics. Competition that are rigged and meaningles for both sides. She could have told his majesty what was going to happen ahead of time so he'd be prepared had she wanted him to suddenly not pe known as a tyrant in history. But its also true that even though she knoes the main events she could have not predicted the side plots and when where they going to happen. As for how its going to end they are clearly playing the same cards as in Dear Hongrang with the sole exception that in here the king really did not deserve to nor had to die. And the amount of deaths that were colateral damage (also all the familiar faces of the cast) its gianormous. At this point they won't even bother to clean his majesty's image because there is nothing to clean at all. It was all a riot ploted by the tyrany of the real tyrant. Everybody is well dead....so yeah go ahead and play king of an empty country dear Prince Je San. At the same time sending the king to the future is uteraly ridicoulous....all his family and his court was slaughtered. Any normal human being would not be in his right mind to just travel into the future while accepting his fate and leave happyly ever after with his personal chef as a wife. Bon Appetite Your Majesty would sound as satire at this point. Who on his right mind would even be able to ingest food while being hunted by bloody nightmears? Same for cook Yeon....just imagine everybody she cooked for was slaughtered in cold blood.... does it make sense to just return to your dayly life as if you had not attended live first row the BIGGEST RIOT IN KOREAN HISTORY? Make it make sense....

Its so sad. Why did they needed to do that? The Queen did not deserve that. Nor the unborn baby. This was just brutal and unjustified. I just finished Dear Hong Ramg and there was a similar scene there. A pregnant women being attacked with a sword directky in her womb...and she survived but her kid died. This is way too bloody...like live inocent babys out of bloody massacres please...

It was not showned but there is this scenes innwhich she asked Kangchul why has he returned and where is her son...so she suspected him ever since he saved her life. Yes they never told her in front if the camera. It is just an assumption that they eventually did because she would not have done a ritual to send her son to the after life otherwise.

I thought it was 2...The 8ft spirit that haunts the palace and that its composed by the spirits of those who died because of the former king and the General. The General is to the blind Shaman what Kangchul was supposed to become to Yeo Ri. Or at least that is what I understood.
