Can someone explain the whole story of black fox and black grief tree from all 3 seasons
So, here’s what I’ve understood after watching the dramas: The Tushan Fox Clan (and allied spirits) take on the role of matchmakers—they assist humans and spirits in forming bonds of love (often across lifetimes / reincarnations) so that the emotional energy of those bonds can be harvested to support the Grief Tree. The Grief Tree is a central spiritual object/tree of power. It is nourished by “true feelings” (love, fidelity, emotional bonds) and is crucial for maintaining balance in the realms. The Black Foxe is a dark force opposing these bonds and balance—it feed on hatred, revenge, darkness rather than love, and threaten the stability of the Grief Tree and thus the peace between humans & spirits. The Grief Tree itself may become corrupted if the negative power accumulates. At that point the fox clan (especially Tushan) must intervene to purge the corruption, often at great cost.
Finally a love story i enjoyed : Yun Fei and Xue Yang. I hope both will live but I doubt.
My theory is that Xueyang will be killed by Yunfei’s father, which will cause Yunfei to succumb to darkness due to the Water Control Orb within him. Ultimately, I believe this path will lead to his own downfall as well.
In episode 22, the Black Fox Madam mentions creating a little fox for Fugui to capture his heart and ultimately serve her purpose. Could that fox actually be Qing Tong? 🤯 I also have a strong feeling Yunfei will turn to the dark side with the help of the Water Control Orb, especially if his father or clan kills Li Xueyang. I’ve been skeptical of Yunfei’s father from the start—it wouldn’t surprise me if he was responsible for his elder son’s death as well.
Finished ep 18 & 19 🎬 My god, I watched QC’s scenes on x speed 😩 He’s *so* annoying! For once, I can tolerate QJT but not him 😤 What does he even mean by “my sister belongs to me”? Like—who the hell are you?? 🤨 QT doesn’t belong to you; you didn’t save her life or do anything for her 🙄 She belongs to *herself*! Independent queen 👑 Obsessed dumb dude 😒
Btw, the Corsac Fox family is hilarious 😂 But I felt really sad hearing Yunfei’s story 😢 Also, I’m so looking forward to seeing Fugui, Rumu, and Yunfei’s brotherhood 🫶💫
I have already know at the beginning of the drama that if the annoying spider become human black fox will possessed…
I knew he was gonna turn into an obsessed SML too 😅 but I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to tolerate his cringey behavior whenever he shows up on screen 😬📺
I’m only on episode 16, and I already find Qing Cheng so annoying. He’s way too clingy — like, come on, man, live your own life and let Qing Tong live hers! I don’t know how I’m going to keep watching him on screen.
