It’s an open ending. Both Qing Tong and Fugui died, but right before the ending credits, they showed Qing Tong in her spider form (like in episode 1) and a voice calling out “Qingtong” — believe it was Fugui’s voice. That’s where it ended. Other than the main leads, Quan Ru Mu and Long Wei Yun also died.
