It’s an open ending. Both Qing Tong and Fugui died, but right before the ending credits, they showed Qing Tong in her spider form (like in episode 1) and a voice calling out “Qingtong” — believe it was Fugui’s voice. That’s where it ended. Other than the main leads, Quan Ru Mu and Long Wei Yun also died.

Fu Gui and Qingtong both died. Worst part is : in order to get the seed, fugui killed Qingtong at the pavilion.
