Although the Empress did get a bit of karma when she had to watch her father die right in front of her, just like the Emperor and Suige once witnessed the Former Empress’s death before their eyes. But her real karma — for killing Suige — is still pending!
I just have one thing to say — I really hope they don’t drag out Suige’s memory loss for more than one or two episodes. Otherwise, I’ll be so frustrated. They handled Yixiao’s memory loss really well, so I’m hoping they do the same with Suige’s. And what about the princess? Is she really going to give herself to Jingyan just so he’ll help her find the real culprits behind Suige’s and her father’s murders? Also, what’s going on with her divorce from Jingshi?
