Yeah, maybe. After watching the final episode, I believe the Right Chancellor was the sole culprit behind Prince Duan’s murder. Pei Yi mentioned that her father and mother appeared in her dream and said the Lantern Festival had ended, which seemed to indicate that she had avenged their deaths and should now move on with her life and find her own happiness

I feel like either they’re planning to give us a second season, or they’ve completely changed the plot about the main villain who conspired against Prince Duan in the novel. I’m leaning toward the second option, though, since it doesn’t seem like they’re going to make a Season 2

Okay, so today’s episode was really good. This much of a love triangle I can tolerate, but not more than this. I really hope they don’t drag it out for too many episodes because that would just annoy me.
One thing I noticed while Tae Hyeong and Yun Seong were competing — Hyeon Jin seemed happier whenever Tae Hyeong won. It feels like her heart is already leaning toward Tae Hyeong, but she just hasn’t realized it yet. I hope she soon figures out where her heart truly lies and that she and Tae Hyeong start dating soon.
