She will definitely try to do some shady things to ML&FL, but in ep. 15 or 16 she will have a change of heart. I’m thinking that since they showed her taking care of dogs, they are signaling she’s not such a bad person. And, especially, since they introduced a vicious & toxic 2FL’s brother.

At this point, I’m convinced they are just doing it on purpose to make this drama even more over-the-top. Kind of how they made Grandma in My Dearest Nemesis as ultra, mega, super, mean person to emphasize the trope of evil parent(s). 😳🙄🤔

Exactly! There was enough plot lines even without the love triangle. We would have enjoyed seeing ML+FL and 2FL+2ML working together as a team to avoid ML+2FL’s marriage and to convince rich parents to consent to FL and 2ML as partners.

Yes, the comments page is generally in agreement that the writers should have made 2ML be a protective brother type instead of creating a love triangle. It’s pretty clear the audience is annoyed with 2ML and instead of making 2ML+2FL a cute love story, writers are making us wonder if 2ML even deserves the very sweet 2FL 🙄

I suspect 2FL’s toxic brother is there to make us feel bad for ML’s stepsister and to give her a redemption arc. Maybe she will forget about taking over the company and will focus on helping with the dog shelter 🐶. The biggest obstacle is their father — if the evil dad wasn’t involved, ML would be happy to leave Natural Baby to his sister while he focused on investmentments.

The author of WIFTY is really great 👍🏻 The First Frost is also one of my favorites (I’m not a target audience for Hidden Love but it was also cute).

Yes, many people agree with this feeling. It’d have been better if ML+FL and 2FL+2ML all worked together to prevent ML+2FL from getting married.

Ep. 8 is what I personally predicted so the drama is on schedule and now we have 6 episodes left for them to get together & resolve multiple plot lines.
But, like you & many others, I wish that writers would have kept 2ML’s feelings towards FL as purely platonic. He’s rapidly becoming not very likable.

I bet it will take until end of ep. 9 (or even 10) for FL to come clean with ML, but at least now he can pursue her without feeling so guilty. And, yes, 2ML is getting annoying at this point; writers aren’t doing him any favors.

I bet they had a stunt double for the FL. Poor girl had so many accidents 🤣

Well… this is a better ending then some sort of a fakeout regarding ML+2FL engagement. At least, now we feel optimistic regarding ep. 9 🥰

They will have 6 episodes together. This drama is 14 episodes, so ep. 9-14 will be them trying to get together :)

Yes! 2ML started off a sympathetic person but the writers should have known that audience would start disliking him for trying to come between the leads. It would have been a refreshing change of a typical trope if 2ML was just a good friend with no romantic feelings.

Yes! Our leads need to get together quickly and come up with ways to protect them (and secondary couple) from evil schemes.

LOL… I love the leads in DwU, but that show would’ve been better if they had less plot lines.
