At a cost of her own career though? She was the favorite of the main chef and — seems like — a better chef herself. Seems strange to throw her career away like that. I would understand it better if she would have been hoping that by taking the blame herself, the chef would punish her (but not fire her outright) because he liked her; whereas he’d probably fire her ex outright. Anywah, maybe I’m thinking about this too much, lol… To begin with, the whole premise of chefs knowing when a Michelin guide reviewer is visiting is unrealistic. I understand why they did it in the drama but Michelin reviewers are super anonymous and visit multiple times :)

Is that a good show?

We don’t find out what happened with the single dad, but episode 2 reveals the reasons for FL having to do this this.

This drama is competing with Would You Marry Me for the amount of tropes :) But in both cases they are done well :))

That person is not his sister but the person from ep. 1 who wants to marry ML. And ML agreed to marry her in Ep. 2 to get a divorce for his mother. ML’s dad wants their families to be married for business reasons. But, yes, with out experience we know that ML+FL will end up together and single dad + art gallery lady will also have a connection :)

Like others mentioned, there are really good reasons for her to pretend to be married with a child. It will be explained in episode 2. Enjoy it!

Good point. Probably because even if his family had money, he might’ve swindled them out of it. Or if they still have money, they don’t want to spend it on in-laws 🙄

I’m 100% sure that the story with her sister and her husband will re-appear again when bad people come looking for money from FL and ML.

If she didn’t bring up the shower, she might’ve been able to join the mom group legitimately ❤️‍🔥😁☺️

Instead of setting fire to one of the company’s restaurants, he set fire to a restaurant that was barely alive AND hasn’t been bought out yet! Kind of lazy writing 🙄

Question: do they ever explain why FL volunteered to take the fall for her ex and left that restaurant? Did she simply get tired of head chef’s obsession with chasing star rating? (I finished 7 episodes and it’s still not clear.)

MDL synopsis isn’t entirely accurate. ML & FL meet & kiss before they work together. FL is single at the time and she also tells ML she’s single.

First episode was very enjoyable. I do hope ML sees through FL’s future lies (married with a kid) quickly. Praying for good writing, lol

It was a police officer. That person tried to cuff the bad lady and then walked out with the rest of the police officers.

He’s in the drama specifically to be disliked but he’s doing TOO good of a job, lol. And I really don’t see a good ending for him. At least, the second pair will probably have an open ending, but The Ex has no one.

Wasn’t excited to see him in the preview for next week 😳
