It’s always the people who claim they can’t stand Byeon Woo-seok spending the most time talking about him…
You’re arguing against things I never even said. I never said toxic fans or harassment are normal, I was talking about basic co-star interactions and promotion culture in the entertainment industry. At this point, this conversation is clearly going nowhere, so I’d rather end it here
I just finished watching Episode 11, and honestly, this kind of reaction no longer surprises me. The exact same…
agree with you. The same cycle already happened after episode 9 where people immediately declared the drama ruined, only for opinions to calm down again later. At this point, it really does feel like some viewers are reacting to every unexpected development as if it completely erases all the strengths the drama had before.
And I also noticed that outside of MDL, the reception feels much more balanced and positive overall. People are still praising the performances, emotional scenes, cinematography, soundtrack, and character dynamics, while here the discussions sometimes feel overwhelmingly negative to the point where it barely feels like normal criticism anymore
the whole drama is surviving because of IU and Byeon Woo Seok! period. The show started well, but the plot lost…
some people felt the second half became rushed, but I also don’t think the drama would still have this much engagement if viewers felt absolutely nothing while watching it
Personally I think actors sometimes choose projects because they connect emotionally with the story or want to…
I can understand being frustrated with certain writing choices or plot holes, but personally I don’t think the story was completely meaningless or nonsensical either. And regardless of how people feel about the script, I still think the actors delivered strong performances that deserve credit on their own

I do think their performances and screen presence carried a huge part of the drama, but personally I wouldn’t say the writing was completely terrible either
Personally, I liked the emotional atmosphere, cinematography, soundtrack, and the way the drama handled emotional tension and character dynamics. Obviously I can’t say It’s a perfect drama, but I can still understand why many people connected with it emotionally
I can actually kind of see the Kim Min Seok resemblance in that scene too especially with the tired eyes and styling. But I still mostly see Song Joong-ki in some angles
I've honestly been avoiding this comment section ever since I started watching this. I didn't want it to kill…
Exactly that’s what surprised me too people can dislike episode 11, but the way some suddenly started acting like the entire drama was always terrible feels really overdramatic to me
we don't get the bl plots anymore... that's quite disappointing
Well this drama was never really promoted as a BL in the first place I think people got confused because the FL writes BL stories, but the actual romance in the drama itself is still straight

I honestly agree. People have every right to dislike the direction episode 11 took, but acting like one episode suddenly erases all the emotional build-up, performances, cinematography, and good moments from the previous episodes feels really exaggerated to me. The drama definitely has flaws, but the reactions lately feel much harsher than the actual quality of the show
