Watch Soul Mate they said. It'll be fun they said. You'll love it they said. Then tell me why am I an emotional…
Honestly same 😭 I started this drama expecting something soft, comforting, and healing and instead it emotionally destroyed me. And I also agree with your second point tbh I understand why some people don’t consider it a BL, but I don’t think that automatically means it can’t be seen as queer either. The emotional intimacy, attachment, and the way the relationship is portrayed definitely gives that interpretation to a lot of viewers
It's more of a show led by a queer character in my opinion which is nice narratives like this are always reserved…
Sorry for the late reply 😭 honestly while watching, I personally felt their relationship leaned more toward deep friendship, soulmate vibes, and emotional attachment rather than something explicitly queer or romantic
Exactly some people in these comments are acting like this drama personally ruined their lives when it’s literally…
I haven’t read that comment yet but I definitely appreciate people who can explain both the strengths and flaws of a drama in an actually thoughtful or entertaining way. Even if I disagree with some opinions, those kinds of discussions are way more interesting than comments that just repeat “boring,” “trash,” or “worst drama ever” without adding anything meaningful
How did you suddenly decide my intentions? I literally said I skipped through some parts at first just to understand the overall story, ending, and direction so I could give my opinion here. Not everyone watches dramas only looking for kissing scenes the way you seem to think

Honestly I can see that it feels less focused on explicit romance and more on giving emotional depth and vulnerability to characters we rarely get to see portrayed this way
LMAOO 😭 I technically did finish it, but I skipped through some scenes here and there at first just so I could get the overall story and give my opinion here. I’m rewatching it properly now without skipping 😭
From the episodes so far, it honestly feels more like emotional bromance/soulmate vibes than a fully explicit…
Honestly yeah if you calculate everything properly it’s actually over 5 hours, and there aren’t really long openings or credits either but to be fair I did skip through a few parts here and there

For anyone wondering after watching all 8 episodes so far 😭 there are still no kisses or openly explicit romance scenes between them. Personally, the drama feels more like a very deep emotional soulmate/bromance story built around longing, attachment, comfort, and emotional dependency rather than a fully confirmed BL romance. The chemistry and emotional tension are definitely there, which is probably why so many people are interpreting it differently, but as of now it’s still more emotionally intimate than openly romantic.
And honestly, even without romance or kissing scenes, I still ended up really loving the drama 😭 it carries so many emotional, painful, and heartbreaking moments that genuinely hit hard
