Weak script, overused dramatic plot (Like, OKAY WE GOT IT, WE GOT IT THAT IN IS SO HELPLESS, WE GOT THAT ALREADY), terrible editing (primarily reason why, they keep ruining the flow of the show with those high school skill level of cutting and putting scene together), and overtone make up (minor issues but I personally got icked from it) and terrible acting, especially those cops and its doctor, the doctor's acting (Jimmy) too is so underwhelming compared to the fortune teller dude (Sea)

Can't believe this is the same pair that played in Last Twilight, so I guess they have no power in the industry yet to reject mediocre script yet

Oh, and I feel bad for those Polices, don't even let me start with how useless these bums in the series, such nonsense the way how they worked as a unit for a mere plot device 😭

Imma be real, it won't, because this drama is about Wuxie yearning of Xiaoge and his Xiaoge background story

You won't get the "feel" of what his "yearn" for if you didn't understand their relationship, building chemistry around these 3 first, so imo, watch, Ultimate Note (different cast tho) first or wait until this current on-going drama (Time Raiders) finish its broadcasting

DaKui 😭Anyway . . . First arc is done, faithful to the book, PanZi written so well, Wuxie being Wuxie, this adaptation clears the lost tomb and put them on shame easily (I have an eternal hate bone for those old adaptations wish I could erase them from existence)

Finally, Iron Triangle 😭

Might be the minority here, but I'm so glad they didn't force the bromance element in this drama, The Lost Tomb series has lost its meaning when THAT audience always misinterpret the Iron Triangle relationship and only looking for the bromance scene, majority of them literally ignoring the adventure, the lore and the purpose of "RAIDING"

Adventure behind the bronze door is one of the best adaptations but felt short because they hated Wu Xie there. Apparently, he's too old and they can't ship him with Kangle, like good gracious, it's 10 years after ultimate note deadass, ofc he's old

This new Zhang Qiling resemble a lot of Zhang Kangle's, their lips shape (I'm sorry, I'm that kind of a viewers that observes everything looks pretty lol) are so similar, the way the spoke is also very similar, I know that Xiao Ge tends to be portrayed like that, but Huang Junjie and Xiao Yuliang's version are so different in appearance

Pretty wild to recast ZKL and then find someone who is exactly like him

In Simplify, it's during WuXie's Grandfather when he was young himself, you see the introduction of this series? that's him

Loved it, closer to the book, I just hate the fact that it only has 18 episodes, will be a short journey

This series meant to be a mellow heartfelt story, but I can't enjoy it as much as I wanted it to be as A JimmySea fan because the editing and the flow are so messy. An awkward transition in between the "tone" made too hard to not to complain because, one sec it brought you to tense music then suddenly change the pace into some romantic vibe, disjointed

The only thing that keeps me here is their immaculate chemistry

Started at 7.8 and now it's 8.7? 🤯
They won the audience! !

Hopefully it's a financial success so that we might get a 2nd season 🙂

Having a one-sided beef? 😭 because this whole comment sections for weeks didn't even bother about the romance nor having such childish debate about who's going to date Ujin, we were busy talking about whether this drama about Rugby or not, praising the actor, put the frustration on the mothers and the bad guys

MunUng, my favorite character in the series 😭

From being the food delivery for the National Youth Team training to became one of them, that alone deserve his own episode depth. He's just a fictional character but I'm so proud

Finally, a kdrama that KNOWS how to do an epilogue
3/4 part of if the finale is literally a glimpse on how to end everyone's character arc

If Hanyang lose in the final or MunUng didn't get the highlight in the match (Because he's supposed to be the MVP of the team, the best player and Ju Garam's young version), Imma lead my army to downvote this series 😏 jk, lol, but I mean like

You can't build drama like this only for the final to be anticlimactic
So better cooking some masterpiece for today's finale

My Jaw dropped when I saw Jung Hyunhwa, table tennis legend, those who in the TT community should be familiar with her, the only non-Chinese who won world Championship in the Women category

Sadly, no Badminton nor Archery legends where these 2 sports are Korean's Olympic Gold medalist

Finally, a green-flag main character where he just straight-forwardly said "I'm hitting on you" the moment he realized he's in love, didn't wait for a signal nor playing the green flag card way too much just to get the attention or the sign from his crush first before making his move

Idk how often this happen, but from my experience with watching bl drama, this is kinda refreshing to me

The editing is so junky 😭

Team behind this doesn't deserve Sea in their project, he's been stellar since Last Twilight, and even more in this series, yet, I couldn't feel the flow due to that horrendous editing,

As expected, episode 10 hits different
Rating goes up by 0.1 after being stuck at 8.4 for more than a week
