Unexpected, sad, emotional and beautiful
What a drama. At first I thought it was going to be like any other drama in ancient China with gods, demons and mortals. But here I was proven wrong with a really cool story. How much evil can happen to a human being or a divine person, please, and all because someone was scheming in the background.I still have three episodes to go but I will definitely watch the drama again. I was simply captivated by the story, the characters and the scenery. And a big round of applause for the two main actors who really did a wonderful and emotional job.

Sadly No happyending
I wish our main characters and all their friends had had a wonderful happy ending. 😭Unfortunately, this drama left us with sadness and pain.😭💕 But what a drama and what a masterstroke. I will definitely watch it again. But can we please still talk about how there must be so much hatred and intrigue? I really wish the main female character had managed to free herself from the vicious clutches in a nice way and not the one where she finally takes her own life out of despair, grief and anger.

Emotional Waves?
I don't know about you but episode 33 of “A Date with the future” left me emotionally devastated. I don't think any C-drama has ever managed to bring me to tears like this one. The story is a beautiful up and down that often makes you laugh and smile. But especially in the last episodes it gets incredibly emotional. I love it. I think the term emotional wave describes it quite well. The drama shows you incredibly well how dangerous the life of a firefighter is. And I can't express how much respect I have for these men and women who put their own lives on the line every day for our lives and our safety.
