New to cdrama yes. I recently got addicted to it last year in November because of Lgief.
This drama is more suited for summer or autumn 😭 I hope it airs in November then…

This isn’t Esther’s first wuxia drama her fight scenes are really good in MJTY but half of it was ruined because of the slow motion. Also there’s a rumour that the screenwriter specially approached Esther after watching MJTY so I believe in her.

I love Esther’s outfits in this drama sm especially the red top and the flower clip in her head, she looks so youthful and unreal in that outfit. Can’t wait for them😭 please i hope it airs in September.

It’s sad to still see comments about Esther’s voice in this drama. She sought out a voice acting teacher to take a month-long course to adjust her pronunciation in order to secure the original voice acting for Xiao lan hua. Ik not many will find her voice pleasing to hear in the first few episodes but her voice also matures and becomes totally unrecognisable in the end. It’s funny how she has dubbed almost her every character herself , received many praises from professional voice dubbers for her correct pronunciations and even got to voice dub Gwen Stacy, Little Pony and many other famous cartoon characters but she’s the actress with most hate comments about her voice😭 I couldn’t stand her voice in Ski into love but all her other dramas are so good and her voice is just normal. I fell for Dylan and Esther in this drama and it’s also my first Xianxia.

Please this drama is too good to miss if you drop it just because of her voice and her character, also felt boring in the first few episodes but the scene in ep 9 where Dfqc came to save Xlh really did it for me ✨ Cang lanjue set the bar too high.
Dfqc is my dream man forever.

It’s okay everyone has different preferences. I love Esther’s comedic timing and acting and most of her dramas are good for me. Haven’t seen anything with Anyu before but I’m excited to see this pairing! And Esther gets to try something different from her previous roles here so I think it wouldn’t be that much of a problem for you if you don’t like her in cute roles :) I’ve always wanted her to play more melodramatic roles like this🥹 she has played the sunshine character in most of her dramas.

I haven’t watched any of his dramas before but he looks okay here and fits the character I mostly want to see their chemistry and they look so hot together.
