Look, she cheated on her fiancé. I can't condone cheating as long as their partner isn't abusing them. Her fiancé wasn't a good person either, not denying that, and neither is she. They actually deserve each other.I'll never root for cheaters but it's okay if you do

It never stops to amaze me how people react to certain aspects of a show and they will rate it based on that.I…
"Certain aspects" that is the main plot of how they fall in love. You'll love an abuser who turns into a good person as the protagonist if you enjoy "character development" so much lol

It's not just because of the people here. No matter who the makers are supporting, you have to agree that they were the ones who turned this drama into a form of political activism with a scene that wasn't even necessary

It does matter because the people who want to watch the drama will come here and see how low the rating is
It would matter if it were done on IMDb

Very few people who come to watch actually care about ratings. It's mostly the fans who are concerned about them. Anyway, there's a large group of people who actively seek out underrated dramas. You'll often see comments on low-rated dramas saying things like, "This is so underrated, while some popular drama like XYZ is overrated." Hopefully, that group will discover this drama too

The fact that their feelings "blossomed" while she was still engaged feels like emotional cheating to me, and I can’t root for characters like that

Honestly, both the fans and those rating it low are working overtime. MDL ratings don’t mean anything, yet people are doing this for no reason. The same goes for fans who keep saying, "It doesn’t matter; Korea doesn’t care."If Korea doesn't,then why do you guys care? Both sides need to rest now

why is there a drop in the ratings?? can someone tell me without giving spoilers?
Mistranslation or not, they showed some things in the last episode that imply they see Israel as the victim, which understandably angered people. As a result, many viewers, except for the loyal fans, rated it low.But MDL ratings don’t really mean much

I just opened the app and thought I was seeing things. I expected it to drop to 8.5 or 8.6 eventually even without the issue, but I didn’t expect it to hit 8.3 this soon

Even if they break up before the final proposal, it's pretty evident that they'll develop feelings while the male lead is still in a relationship

Without even considering the issue, because of the second half, I already assumed it would be 8.6. Most binge-watchers won't like the sudden shift. Now, I don't even know what the final rating will be

Before moving on to a new partner, you can break up with the previous one. No one is asking you to stay with someone you don't love. However, if you develop feelings for someone else and act on them while you're in a relationship, that's cheating.

They could have kept the male lead's relationship simple, like a business marriage with his fiancée, but instead, they made her his pursued girlfriend. This made the male and female leads' relationship feel like cheating—though "sort of," since he and his girlfriend broke up and reconciled so many times I lost count.

Why does this have so many watchers but such a low rating?
One punchline from this drama went viral. Everyone knew it was bad. people, including me, were only watching it to mock it. It’s practically a meme among Kdrama watchers now.The story and characters are terrible.
Some people may call it realistic, but that doesn’t change the fact that the characters were dickheads. The male lead being a womanizer is quite uncommon for a K-drama
