oh but that’s a modern drama! i think the styling was fine there, most girlbosses dress to look older to be taken more “seriously” so i thought it looks fine. I understand your point tho, i feel like she’s stuck in that young girl trope and pity her for it, but she’s nailing it so i don’t mind haha! i think for most actresses in china they only have a short blooming period so while she’s on a run, she should embrace it.. there’s an abundance of dramas for an abundance of new actresses in china. this one is an S rated drama so I would expect veteran actors and no less!

haha you guys are getting too excited in this post’s comments! i understand where you’re coming from, just from their static pics it may be difficult to imagine it, but when the acting is shown on video it would usually be different. both leads are veteran actors so i think it should work out fine. try to keep an open heart until you’ve seen it

trust me, he’s going around all genres and probably going round with a checklist, hahaha! i personally think he’s nailing them all and his acting experience is greatly expanding. I’m also waiting for him to film or release one modern drama, just hoping 🤞🏻🤞🏻

haha you guys, i understand where you’re coming from, sometimes they like to contrast things in dramas, you can see light when there’s darkness, that’s why they needed some lying to highlight the importance of honesty. I agree I personally find some scenes disturbing, but now that i’ve finished watching it, I end up just rewatching a lot of the funny scenes and touching moments and skipping everything else. at the end of the day, i feel like the payoff is worth it for me.

HMH is notorious for being able to turn his dramas into gold. and TSY is a great seasoned actress that you won’t get bored of watching. their chemistry should be great! (also based on reuters videos i’ve watched, at least) LITC budget is supposedly lower than this so I’m hoping this should be good too! but i like your mindset of not expecting too much so we can be shocked and entertained more later!!

i haven’t managed to watch a clear video of his speeches; only a couple of clips today but I can really feel his happiness and sincerity… i hope things will be better and better… wishing for greater roles for him in the future! more fun variety shows, more sincere people around him, more great songs, and please an album release (and his old songs to be revived in spotify)!!! i hope someone can help us translate what he said!

i feel like that right after my first hmh watch, then i went down the rabbit hole. every role he plays he infuses his soul and sincerity… now it becomes difficult for me to watch other dramas… his passion for acting really makes his roles come alive. i’m still watching LITC every day and every other day I rewatch his old dramas. The roles he chooses always seem to inspire me and his unyielding & positive soul reminds me to grind through my days and stay positive too!

based on the rumours, it was written to be Melody Journey 2, so this one is the season one on iQiyi.
i haven’t watched this but reading the reviews is quite comforting, looks like it’s a more relaxed variety show, so we will get to see him in his creative process too!

note the day that most c drama airs they usually release 4 episodes, that’s usually the introduction. it’s different for each person but i’ve read some people get hooked after the first arc. I have been waiting for this drama; read the synopsis & read the leaks.. so i was already in from the start, because i knew the payoff would be worth it.
