I have a few questions out of curiosity....Is it normal for C- drama to film all night, almost every night? 🤔Is…
yes it’s like that for several of his dramas, I’ve been following his schedule for several years now.. i’m guessing if you’re an art student it’s quite normal to stay up late, apparently inspiration flows better, right? but I heard it’s because it’s hot in hengdian and they don’t want anyone to suffer from heatstroke (?) or something like that and I guess the scenes will be dark and even if it’s light, they want to be able to control the lighting.
two bts that I’ve watched shocked me - glory’s rong mansion was shot in a studio and they used lighting even for daytime scenes - i am nobody’s eating bao scene was actually at night and they used big lights
I wanna know one thing… If RCZ is a Star Deity and also a Daoist, shouldn’t he wear white, blue, or other…
apparently it’s been altered a bit or someting, we don’t know details, but with his demon hunter identity it makes sense for him wear dark colored clothes… let’s just wait for updates
What's the red thread he has been wearing these days???
He's been wearing it since a couple of years ago, it's some sort of amulet for protection. If I'm not mistaken, it was the year he was cyberbullied so bad, his mom bought it for him, then he wore it everywhere. On days he took it off, the red thread would show up from his pocket
OMG ep38 😭😭😭😭😭 heartbreaking sceneHong Ye from 10 thousands years before is a masterclass from…
I kept replaying that scene in the Yuli Spring. It was beautifully done; his acting was crazy good. esp when the OST went "this moment is so beautiful it's outrageous" IT WAS!!! 😭😭😭
limao is royalty, it is said in extra credit scene after the closing ost, so technically not unknown origin ehe
The setting of that post-credit scene was definitely something from before XWY went missing... he had the eye cover... they just decided to put that in the end for the sake of "parallel callback shots" of ep 1 and 28, and so that some viewers would be angry and triggered by Limao, like your reaction! Haha, they were making it ambiguous on purpose!
Because XWY actually made the case that even common-born people can have noble character too. So Limao had to rise to show his redemption arc. Being an emperor is not easy; there were a lot of political undercurrents that weren't shown but implied; he was pressurised by the noble families & other ministers; many of them wanted to topple XWY. He had to have the "checks and balances" in place.
Limao actually loved and respected XWY so much; he thought he was invincible and wouldn't die in prison. He was super shocked when the medic reported that XWY was dying!! I felt like their dynamic is like a siblings' dynamic. They know each other inside out, and so even after a fallout, they can automatically reconcile quickly. I mean, he said himself that after this their relationship would be subject and ruler, but once XWY came back to life, he didn't hesitate to ask him to become sworn brothers!
There are many love languages in the world, and "physical touch" is just one of them. This drama explores…
I understand your concerns about things happening in America. But I guess it's because in Asian countries, at least, in the olden days it was normal for people to get married young, they used to pester us to get married quickly and now the society is accepting us getting married later. So we're quite aware that it used to happen in the past, so having a "historical drama" portray it is not that bad for us. Feels more accurate because it did happen to us just a couple of generations ago. and this drama portrayed the FL's character's innocence well.
And I think you're right; maybe they should try to regulate those fanmade shippings on reddit and other posts if it gets inappropriate. But at least, the actors in Chinese social media sites have made the cp marketing footages very sweet and cute, many people were commenting they're such a cute brother and sister couple; dare I say with no lustful undercurrents. Of course that's why these sort of discussions are important to educate people. Thank you for your time and raising awareness to your concerns.
