This show truly respects each character and their motivations. They all have their own growth arc and personal journey. It doesn’t feel like watching NPCs! The story feels like it comes to life! Such an amazing script and delivery!! Kudos to the entire production & cast!!

Even if the scripts’ outline is somewhat a little formulaic, HMH manages to deliver characters that don’t overlap by his acting; supported by the styling, makeup, cinematography, music etc. I understand, I too, really want him to act in another wuxia and modern drama but I think this project might be very well accepted by the masses. I mean because of yesterday’s steamy reuters, people are getting excited. On top of that it’s because he can play complex characters, he suits playing roles with substance and depth, meanwhile not a lot of recent modern dramas are capable of doing that; highlighting his acting skills. I guess he’s also waiting for a good script and getting picked by production teams too. Hoping for the best to come!
