In an interview for the fire scene (ep 1), he mentioned he did the close up shots first and was devastated to see his clean face on screen, so he reasoned with the directing team, saying that that scene may have been after days of fighting, and this is a pivotal scene to portray the harsh reality of warfare. The directing team agreed, he then washed off his makeup, proceeded to put soot, mud and blood on his face with the help of the makeup team.
His professionalism and dedication to his roles had always helped in shaping his characters.

I agree the ML is the shining point of this drama. To be fair, she did and said some good things too. She also helped the ML regain some optimism, humanity and his reputation; clearing out misunderstandings. By this time, she has also changed a bit, she's not as naive as she was in the first episode, but she is still inexperienced. This drama is fast paced so if you choose to skip scenes then it will be difficult for you to understand the undercurrents. Well anyways, you are free to enjoy it any way you like

the ML FL & SML were in a drama called Fangs of Fortune and there wasn't even a kiss scene there. Anyways Aimi, the FL is an experienced actor, and with the regulations, she had her guardian and acting coach with her on set.

Hi! I think you’re new to this page. There's been a lot of discussions on this matter. They don’t focus so much on the romance but they focus more on the plot and political intrigue regarding overarching themes like loyalty, mission for country, etc. At the end of the day they are just professionals acting, and watching this does not mean we are advocating for age gaps in real life. As long as there is no exploitation involved. I heard there won’t be any explicit scenes, so you can rest assured. Honestly her age is already over the age of consent. But if it’s uncomfortable for you, you can wait until it finishes airing and somebody will probably update posts about this matter. So sit it out first and don't watch if it's still not to your liking.

Actually he sang a duet for the intro of Glory. So it's not his first time. But yes he's been singing his OSTs for years. But not a lot of people know how good he could sing; he literally had to ask directors to let him sing. People joked that for every drama Actor HMH acts in, he rewards Singer HMH with OSTs. If you look back on his earliest works, he actually already could sing really well!!

apart from everyone else's comments, I'd also add the fact that she doesn't want one subordinate to have too much power. that's why she kept pitting XWY with other people. She wanted to balance the power in the court. She needs docile ministers, not people who are smart & strong enough to risk toppling her off the throne.
