You mean the master the evil shaman was begging in the latest episode? I was also thinking about the nobleman…
yes, him! for a moment I thought I missed something because I wasn't sure if he appeared in previous episodes. Nobleman Choi DOES seem fishy (he has some sort of secret for sure) but as you said there is a cast list and some actors are also listed as "unknown" lol they never reveal full when the drama has just begun airing 😂
first couple of episodes were good but I'm struggling to get past eps 5-6.. the acting is great and I wouldn't say the plot is messy but something's just not working for me
I'm more into thrillers and saeguks and I watch romcoms as a filler drama usually or when I need a break from all the bloody serial killer stuff 😂 I started this because I love MGY and CHW so I'm probably biased when I say I enjoyed it (if it were some other pairing I may would have dropped it at some point) I actually enjoyed first half, it was more interesting to me than the second one but it's the case with most kdramas I've seen (it was like that with Business proposal, I binged first 7-8 episodes and then barely finished the rest) This is a nice lighthearted watch when you need a break from the world, it's not really about character/plot development. I loved the chemistry between main leads, I got butterflies 🦋 but it really wasn't believable either of them were in their thirties lol. Anyways, I believe we've all seen waaay too many kdramas for this to be something groundbreaking 😂 just don't think too much, take it or leave it
This drama is lacking developed supporting characters - everything about them seems rushed and not important for…
Initially, when I heard this would have 12 episodes I was content because it meant it wouldn't get draggy around the middle. Now I think we would be better of with at least 14 (in terms of story development)
This drama is lacking developed supporting characters - everything about them seems rushed and not important for the story (for example, in True beauty I loved how everyone had their own thing going besides main trio and you could genuinely care for characters) I honestly only care about main couple and am watching this just for them. Even if they were the only people in this drama it wouldn't make a big difference. I am enjoying it so far, it's nothing new but is funny and lighthearted watch. Waiting to see how everything unravels
this is driving me crazy in dramas, like, they had more than enough time to pull over! but maybe in the end it…
it could very likely be the case here because I don't think he's dead yet. But we're just fuming over the truck not slowing down like AT ALL wgen approaching him 😂
There is nothing official yet, but it's definitely set up for a potential season 2. Fingers crossed.
ooh we sure would love that! It was open ended for a reason and there were still some questions left unanswered, like what happened to real Kang Bit Na! let's hope we get a season 2
bro knew he was going to die but was literally walking on the road. and why tf did the truck kept moving?
this is driving me crazy in dramas, like, they had more than enough time to pull over! but maybe in the end it didn't actually hit him? I guess we'll find out next week
At first I hesitated to watch this because of all the comments. Then someone recommended it to me as something with similar premise to Signal so I watched it and I'm glad I did. I liked Signal slightly better in terms of acting and atmosphere (it was more gloomy and dark) but ai think this drama is valuable. I liked that they didn't use the *corrupt police* trope because, although realistic, it's been WAY overused in dramas. I LOVED how they significantly included empathy for victims and their families because in the end that is what is really important. "the police shouldn't just catch the culprit. It should save lives" Here are some points: 1. I thought the Violent crime squad was very smart. I see many comments regarding police stupidity but I don't think that's the case here. If you've watched Blind you saw how incompetent police looks like. There were some impulsive, ego driven weak decisions here but it doesn't mean theyr stupid.
2. Male lead is a bit aggressive and eccentric with a reason - he's simply a young person born in boomer generation stuck in modern era. He's a perfect boomer dad. He adapted to modern technology very quickly - his personality and way of speech only represents his upbringing and way of life.
3. I think open ending was a good idea. If they'd shown us how future looked like after everything there might've been some plot holes (I don't know how much they've thought through time travel concept for it not to have plot holes) so I think this was safer way out. We don't need to see everything after all, there were hints.
Anyway, I recommend this, it was an interesting watch!
I liked the webtoon better. I felt no chemistry at all between cast members (not even supporting characters) and the only stories I remotely cared about were Sua's background and Gyeong Seok's mother
Production and OST are phenomenal and this drama introduced me to many great actors. Loved the dynamics between male characters and second couple. Other than that I skipped a lot. The plot just wasn't it for me and flashbacks were way too repetitive
the acting is great and I wouldn't say the plot is messy but something's just not working for me
