This show makes me wonder about how many innocents who were “gifted”/ahead in thinking” have been killed throughout history while being accused of being “witches”. All that just because they were among poor and uneducated people who couldn’t understand logic nor think deeper.
Ep. 1 for example when she used that powder to make the flames of the torche bigger and all the common folks saw “witchcraft”. Sometimes being too smart is a curse when you are among simple minded people.
I decided to watch cuz I needed something to help me stay up while I was doing my hair. I’m pleasantly surprised by how good this show is so far, my hair is done and it’s way passed my bedtime but I cannot stop watching 🙃.
I could only tolerate ML obnoxious behavior for 5 ep then I had to drop. “Let me bully her into realizing that she is in love with me. It’s all about me.”
The main lead couple will frustrate you to no end, until the end they are frustrating with miscommunication. I started skipping halfway through the drama, I only liked Gui Bai and his girl. I will not rewatch this.
I have high hopes! Please be an intelligently written script played by actors who take themselves seriously 😭🙏🏽! In desperate need of an amazing drama.

You are proving my point. He is not the reason her life was miserable. She cannot feel at ease with him and that has nothing to do with him or her. Both are suffering from the choice her father made which was to go back in the building to save the kid. No one asked him to do it so they shouldn’t have the burden on them. That said, I can understand the guilt.

Yes, I understand that the trauma is real but what I don’t understand is the usual “let’s breakup without discussing like adults why and let it be over something none of us did”. I really hope she takes it the way you say. I hope she takes it right away and avoid us viewers the unnecessary breakup period that the writers like to force feed us.
