This short drama is a masterpiece
This is the type of drama that makes you feel respected by the entire cast and crew. The acting was well executed, costumes, cinematography etc… all delivered what they needed to deliver.I found this drama by accident and I’m glad that I pushed through the title and the picture (didn’t appeal to me) and gave it a chance. There was no single awkwardness in the drama, there was no cringe moment.
If you want an intelligently written drama with actors who are invested in their roles, this might satisfy you. The ending of the drama was expected so it was good how it ended.
What I personally didn’t like but it didn’t take away from the acting and screenwriting was the excessive filter imo. The actors had no pores.

Real life
This drama tells the story of 6 sisters throughout their lives, it started in the mid 1960 and ended I believe year 2010.It’s slow paced. What I really enjoyed is that everything felt real and relatable. The actors were not overly done with makeup, you could see wrinkles and features you see on everyday people. The family bond throughout the years was not broken even when going through hardships. You will cry, you will laugh, you will get angry along with them. The only “flaw” imo was when they switched the actresses who played Jiali. The switch was too obvious but as the show went on, I got used to it. I give this drama 9/10, it was wrapped up really well.

Underrated
I enjoyed this drama more than expected. The story is not one we haven’t seen but the way the actors plays and how they delivered the story was captivating. I believe this is the first drama where I enjoy the role FL played.The pace was good but towards the end, one or 2 episodes dragged a little bit. Overall a great drama!

A masterpiece
This was one of the first cdramas I watched. The number of episodes intimidated me at first but I’m so happy I decided to watch regardless.The storyline is amazing, it’s slow paced but it doesn’t feel like the drama is dragging. All the actors played well and the love story was just beautiful. Watching this feels like a real historical life of upper class. The acting is mature, the script is amazing, the costumes are beautiful and so on. I don’t usually rewatch dramas but this one is definitely one that deserves to be watched a few times. A solid

A must
This drama was amazing, I didn’t expect to like it since it’s a different style than the ones I usually watch. The drama is also slow paced but not dragging. You will feel all the emotions (happiness, sadness, anger..) while watching.It’s a happy ending when you know what the FL went through. I definitely recommend if you are into mature slow paced drama, the bonus was to learn about that technique they used to make the beautiful fabrics.

Justice was served
This drama touches on hard topics like SA and women ending themselves because of corruption and lack of justice.Usually I’d find these topics really hard to portray in dramas and at the end I usually feel really drained. The production team and the cast made this drama easy to follow without downplaying the severity and cruelty of the crimes. The ending of the drama is satisfying.
I like that the drama is 24 episodes long (the last episode is a “what if all this didn’t happen” so it doesn’t count imo.) the fact that it was a shorter drama helped us avoid the unnecessary dragging. Here it was moving faster without feeling rushed.
The cast simply did amazing with their acting. FL was really smart and her team was competent. I want to say more but I fear that I may end up spoiling by sharing too much. I finished this drama in 3 days and I can honestly say that imo it’s one of the best dramas I’ve seen.

Hidden gem
Tbh, the title discouraged me at first but I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The story is engaging, the cases are different than what I’m used to see and they were very well developed.The acting was also great, the leads and guests all played well. I just wish for a second season because the ending of this one was 😮💨👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽💯💯.

Simply amazing
I enjoyed this drama more than expected. I started it out of boredom but the synopsis intrigued me enough to watch and I’m glad I watched. Yes, I had a hard time finding it online with English subtitles but I’m happy I didn’t give up searching. The storyline and the acting were amazing. I highly recommend this drama, don’t let the year it aired discourage you, I consider this drama a classic.Was this review helpful to you?
