I want to first say that imo it was more about gaslighting than postpartum depression.
The drama will make you think deeper about the different situations presented. My opinion about each situations changed a few times and it’s because the writers were able to present different perspectives. The only opinion I had that didn’t change was my thoughts about the husbands. No, I am not thinking “they are all like that” but in this drama, they were similar.
Many women from different cultures can relate to this drama. Here it was just not mothers but women (working corporate jobs, working at home raising children, childless ones etc…).
The actors did great but I must say that it was suffocating to see the “take abuse in silence” portrayed in Japanese dramas (men or women), I believe it’s the culture? It’s really suffocating and even infuriating because most of the issues could have been avoided if people just expressed themselves honestly.
Regardless of the frustrating parts, I still recommend this drama as it’ll make you think. I give it 8.5/10.
