ooh I think that’s Situ Ling (the sml) he did like/admired the FL. in the novel he wasn’t a villain but yeah I also some pics of him in dark colour outfits and he had like porcelain cracks makeup so it seems the drama version of him will be bad. kinda wished they didn’t change his character but we’ll have to find out when it airs to judge 😂. yesss JBZ’s past is so saddddd. In the novel, situ ling has a supporting role. He admired Ming Yi for her strength and independence and knew that she didn’t need saving. he was always quietly available. I understood his character as more “I can treat you better than he can”. but yeah he stood no chance against Ji Bo Zai lol. I wouldn’t say he was evil, just petty towards JBZ bc he watched someone he cares about get hurt.
in the drama, it seems they made his character more active. I saw his wrap up pics in the dark black outfit, and I think he has a marriage moment with Ming Yi too? but that didn’t happen in the novel so I have no idea about that. it seems he might become a villain in the drama but not the main villain I reckon 😆

I don’t know if the ML was mentioned in Hidden love but there are characters that are in both stories. from what I remember this novel did mention SangZhi like once or twice. The ML is a year younger than yifan and sangyan, he's their schoolmate and in a grade younger. he also has a nephew who used to be sangzhi's classmate. he was the one that had a crush on sangzhi and was rejected.
