Why do Kdramas do this? I was waiting for the second couple to get together but it was so underwhelming. Couldn’t they have done it in a more interesting way?
39 ep later I still hate the qimin and qianqian pairing. I absolutely hated the romantic spin to their story.…
In the novel, Qimin was drugged by his nanny, so he was ultimately the one who was raped. This is how Bao’er was conceived. This wasn’t shown explicitly in the final cut but in one scene Qianqian tells the nanny something like‘You were the one who sent me to his bed.’
I am a bit confused Qian Qian. Does she have a love hate relationship where she loves him back and has feelings…
I feel she’s repulsed by him psychologically rather than physically, because she doesn’t show any visible disgust when they’re being intimate. It makes sense bcz she hates Qimin because he wants to hurt their son, which is why she tries to escape. But Qimin keeps her captive, taking away her freedom.
From the leaks, I saw that they made a small change to her reaction compared to the novel in their ending
How the fvck were they careless? I hope this leak does not sabotage the project. Christ!!! Someone is definitely…
But aren’t leaks part of Cdrama promotion? I’m following a Cdrama like this for the first time and I was overwhelmed by all the leaks and storyline spoilers. I even saw the soup scene of the second couple before the episode aired. I thought they were doing it intentionally?
Are you a bot? You keep copy pasting the same thing again and again. The second couple had only one scene at the…
If y'll got clickbaited, that’s your problem. Did the main leads have any scenes here according to the novel? The main leads literally had 11 episodes alone and then six more episodes where other characters were introduced but they still had plenty of scenes. And yet all you care about is skinship. Y' ll are heading straight to the same horny jail as Qimin, whom you criticize so much

These episodes are all about Changyu’s growth and the romance of the second couple you’re crying about had only one scene. Changyu went to save her. How is that not her glorification? It sounds like you just want Changyu to be a dutiful wife, serving intimacy to the Marquis
This is so so u fair to the main couple. We know zlh and txw both are amazing at romance. 30 episodes done toxic…
Are you a bot? You keep copy pasting the same thing again and again. The second couple had only one scene at the beginning. Don’t you want to see the main characters growth at all? Do you hate seeing Changyu’s growth that much? So male centric
Is this ending about her true?I’ve heard that after killing Qimin, Qianqian’s ending in the novel is that…
Yes, I know. I mean that even after killing him, she’s still getting restricted in one place. It’s not like she only hated being held captive by Qimin. She wouldn’t like any kind of restriction since she values her freedom so much.
I’ve heard that after killing Qimin, Qianqian’s ending in the novel is that she becomes Empress Dowager but isn’t that the opposite of what she always wanted? When she ran away, Qimin had kept her in a mansion like other noble ladies. He didn’t lock her in a room. She ran away because she wanted freedom. I think this is where her being a transmigrator matters, because any maid in her position might have been happy but for her it felt suffocating. Even if the show hasn’t clearly stated it yet, they’ve given enough hints that she’s from the future.
Her whole character is built around freedom. If she becomes Empress Dowager, wouldn’t that mean she’s trapped in one place forever? Is that really what she wanted? Not to mention, she would have to live alone for the rest of her life without a partner.
The palace is already cold and boring. We’ve even seen the princess royal, who was raised in that era with strict noble values, run away multiple times.
Her ideal ending would be returning to modern times but I doubt the show would go that far for a secondary character.
I'm a bit confussed about Xie Zhang's personality. One moment he seems possesive and he would never let her go…
I think he was possessive in the novel. But in the drama, to make him more of a green flag, they’re showing him letting her be free. Otherwise, they couldn’t justify Qimin being evil if both of them were holding their wives captive😅
It is a technique, not an obsession. Heighten one emotion by the fast contrasts. The viewer gives up self-control.
But they almost always do that. It just makes the leads feel like they have sibling energy. It’s so hard to find Kdramas with that sultry, intense romance As a genre, I love comedy most but everytime? no
One thing I have to appreciate about Cdramas, even in a normal peck on the lips, they can create so much tension. Kdramas rarely do that, even in full on kissing scenes. I thought the second couple had a very tense relationship, which is why they looked so hot but today’s kiss of the main couple was heart fluttering too. I don’t understand the obsession in Kdramas of turning every romantic scene into a comedy
Today’s episode felt like filler. All these just for Xie Zheng’s truth to come out. Also, since it’s only one episode a day, it feels more unnecessary. Maybe if they released two episodes a day, I would’ve enjoyed the comedy atleast

These two second leads really bother me lol
