How was Legend of Zang Hai? I haven't watched it yet but I plan to some day..
Probably one of my top dramas for this year. Well written, smart characters! I like the villains, I like the good guys, they’re all calculated and I enjoyed that the romance was not the main focus. The romance isn’t really there so if you are looking for romance, this won’t be the show to watch, but if you are interested in revenge, scheming and mental mind games then I recommend this show. ML isn’t the typical martial arts hero, so keep that in mind, but that doesn’t mean he’s weak and defenseless. I say give it a watch if you want to watch several morally grey characters who are well written.
After watching Legend of Zang Hai, this show is another one that keeps me on edge! I need more episodes NOW. This show is engaging and keeps you guessing! You just don’t know what is going to happen next, I’m loving this show. The romance we can see is slowly building, it’s subtle but the cases and investigations is what makes this show stellar. Checking this show out for the leads and their budding chemistry that is blossoming in trust but staying for justice for those who have been wronged. Anyone who is still questioning if they should start this show or not, I say give it a chance and be the judge to see if this is the show for you.
I know the corpse examining scenes shouldn’t be funny to me but to see the people having the vomit reaction just cracks me up! Like they’re the one doubting the FL because she’s just a girl but they can’t even stomach this type of work and now they’re depending on her to do it since she’s skilled. 😂
If anyone is hesitant on starting this drama, rest assure that you are indeed missing out! I just started this the other day and I can’t stop watching. It’s so good and calculated! Well written script and I’m enjoying all of the various characters including all of their flaws. These characters are so multi layered and have many faces that they show the world, their enemies, and their loved ones. You just never know what they’re thinking and that’s what keeps me on the edge. Xiao Zhan is superb! The way he acts really pulls at your heart! My only regret is that I didn’t watch this while it was airing, but I’m glad I clicked play on the first episode.
I enjoyed chasing this drama weekly as it was releasing new episodes daily. The story was heartfelt, the title Feud fits this show perfectly. There wasn’t just a feud between our two leads but between other characters. Each feud was beautifully displayed for us as the viewer to understand their grievances. I am a fan of Bai Lu but this is my first drama with Joseph, his dramas will be on my radar now. He did a really great job as the ML, and Bai Lu, perhaps I’m biased but she once again shows us why she’s a great actress.
So I’m currently watching The Prisoner of Beauty and needed another show to watch as I wait for new episodes. I found this show as it’s the first thing that popped up on IQIYI, I clicked for the ML (this is my first time watching a show starring him) and went into this show with zero expectations and I’m quite entertained and enjoying this very much! Also love the pacing of this show, so far nothing has dragged. The ML and FL’s acting are great and I’m enjoying the chemistry that they have that’s developing. And of course it’s safe to say I’m a new fan to Song Weilong, my only thing is he’s way too handsome and I forget the plot 🤣 but that’s not gonna stop me from watching lol.
Literally gonna be one of my top dramas, it’s been worth chasing daily for new episodes. Soooo worth watching if you’re hesitant! Give this show a chance!
Give this show a chance if you are on the fence, this series deserves all the praises.
