Most of the melon posts from the past month or year are also based on insider info. Around 50% of drama rumors shared by insiders turn out to be false, while the other 50% are true. For example, last month there were several insider reports claiming multiple dramas would be released in June, but around 70% of those didn’t airsame as in previous months.

WeTV International staff have limited resources, especially for artist/drama schedules, promos, and issue handling. For these concerns, contact the main Tencent Video team (Mainland China), not the international version.

WeTV International staff are also based internationally. Tencent Video partners with several international call center agencies. For example, if you reach out to WeTV Singapore, your concern will be handled by the WeTV Singapore staff, not by staff from Tencent Video Mainland China.

If you have the Tencent Video China app (not the international version), you can also send concerns there so the team can assist you with it.

The Drama pre-broadcast investment promotion is always handled by the Marketing Department of Alibaba/Youku.

According to rumors, the Alibaba Digital Media and Entertainment Group/Youku Marketing Department may open another historical drama for a Q3 release. However, it’s still unclear what the drama will be. For now, let’s see if it’s The Eternal Fragrance or not.

If it's still not released in August, we'll wait and see if there are any updates during the Youku Conference in September.

It's not bad; it's actually good to announce the broadcast schedule two weeks in advance. Why? It gives more time for reservations to increase on iQIYI China and allows for better promotion and pre-heating materials within those two weeks.
