Ju Jingyi's new drama just started filming. I’m thinking that if Youku still doesn’t release this drama until next year, since they tend to shelve their historical dramas, then her drama from Tencent Video & IQIYI might get released first next year (Hoping in Q3 or Q4 2026).
If we’re lucky and all three of Ju Jingyi’s dramas, The Eternal Fragrance, Veil of Shadows, and Lai Zhan, air next year, that would be great. If not, shame on Youku.

Hidden Shadow was originally scheduled for release on May 1st and had already begun investment promotions or was seeking investors for its May release. However, the release was postponed by Youku management for reasons that remain unknown. Youku has two dramas lined up: Hidden Shadow and Legend of Zang Hai. Legend of Zang Hai was supposed to follow Hidden Shadow after its broadcast, but due to the postponement of Hidden Shadow, the schedule has been affected.
The postponement is not the fault of Legend of Zang Hai, as both dramas had already undergone investment promotion.
