Tencent Video, iQIYI, and MangoTV all have historical dramas scheduled to air soon. We don’t want delays to continue into next year, and we especially don’t want to see other anticipated dramas postponed or rescheduled.
Youku already has a strong lineup of historical dramas, with several having obtained distribution licenses but still not aired. At this rate, we can expect fewer than 10 historical dramas from Youku this year.
Do you think this drama will air this month? Another costume drama from Tencent Video, "Serendipity," has already started pre-broadcast investment promotion and is tentatively scheduled to air this month.
If a drama is set for release in Summer/july or Q4 this year, we will see whether it has already passed the review and obtained a distribution license.
A summer/july release will depend on when the NRTA approves the drama, as many dramas are currently in the submission and review process. Additionally, many dramas that wrapped up last year have still not passed the review or obtained a distribution license.
The premiere date on Tencent streaming calendar states 17 Mar….
I just saw the list last night and remembered that it's not from Tencent Video but from Melon users on Weibo. As one user said Tencent Video still no Post anything about this.
Si Jin is currently on air. Remember, it's impossible for two major costume dramas to air at the same time. If Si Jin ends around the 20th, Tencent Video might release this 2 or 3 days after sijin end air
In the past few years, Tencent Video has not released a drama at the end of another drama's broadcast. Si Jin and The Glory are both major costume dramas.
