I’m not exactly sure if anyone can really answer this because none of this occurred in the novel, but my assumption is that AI drugging maple was her putting her putting business over pleasure within that moment but as time goes on AI seems to be putting maple over business. we can especially see this when she’s constantly trying to help or hear out maple’s business ideas. She knows Maple is new to this industry so maybe at first she was trying to see how naive and Gullible Maple really is, however I doubt she was thinking that Maple would go out of her way to try and sabotage her, team up against her, and take her down in shady ways. on Maple’s end I think she’s constantly trying to put business first however, her feelings and lack of experience keep overwriting her efforts in business which throws her off because AI is always one step ahead of her. but at the same time maple is falling for AI but both girls feel a constant amount of pressure due to their fathers which is why I believe they keep switching up occasionally bc every talk with their father Basically pulls them back into the reality of the business industry

When I tell you I have never cried this much from a movie before, I mean it. I have no words other than this movie is not for the weak. Everything about the movie is perfection from the acting to the cinematography and background music. The main leads are amazing at potraying every emotion even through just their eyes. I've genuinely never felt this much emotion from a movie before, I feel like I am left in shambles atm. I highly recommend 10/10

omg def watch it, it’s my number one recommendation, LMSY knows how to act, they have crazy chemistry, there’s is yearning in such a short time and they’re outfits and the cinematography are elite!!! there r only 3 episodes out rn (tomorrow will be ep 4) i recommend putting ur time into this show instead it gives u everything u want fr and a little enemies to lover tension

omg real asf I LOVE slow burns I hate when they are already in a relationship off the bat pretty much. show me tension, show me discovery, show me yearning I was all of it that’s the most interesting part to me is development rather than oh yeah we are in love here is our life now together (cause that’s lammmmeeee) ngl harmony secrets 100% is a show that needs like 12 episodes cause everything is so rushed rn (even tho atm it’s my fav show). also the outfits u are so right i was like what kind of body guard is wearing 5 inch heels like who are u gonna run after in those and the outfits are not fitting at all 😭

first episode was fire and so interesting! all the tension, yearning, and fallling for one another is there and honestly perfectly being showcased. it looks like there’s a lot of depth between all the characters and there is going to be a lot of drama and jealousy, which honestly I love so count me in!

I was laughing the whole time during episode 2 I love how light and funny this show is

I fully agree the show is dragginggggg it and giving us nothing like omg we need backstory or something to make me feel like yes they ar meant to be cause bruhhh there is nothing interesting happening at all. I feel like this is one of the shows that does not need 14 episodes and can be wrapped up in 8 while other shows 100% need at least 10-12 episodes in order to get a full story through. also I’m not trying to hate on the show. I just think it’s so slow paced while providing us with the most minimal and unnecessary to the storyline info. like give me drama, give me full on yearning (like the secret of us they did such a good job) like give me more that makes me want to see the next episode immediately 🫠

guys real note this show is so boring atm like I need some drama or comedy or something cause there’s literally nothing interesting going on atm it’s so slow paced. the preview of the next episode looks like bs we’ve already seen with a parent coming in the way again ugh. I just feel like right now the show has no depth and there is literally nothing going on

tbh it seems like the show is already going to take a different route with that but just remember that it’s fiction anyway so it’s really not that deep

imma be honest in the novel they switch back before they even have their first kiss so it honestly wasn’t rlly that weird it was more so that they are falling for each other’s personality and connecting on a deep lvl

this is looking like it’s going to be one of the best GL’s in 2025

I’m more upset that they would do this to AI’s character what was the point of having her drug her like that’s not a good look for her character. and it makes more irritated that this isn’t the first time Mae has been drugged either so like is Ai never going to tell Mae she drugged her and she’s going to pretend like it never happened??? ik this is fiction but god damn what the heck

I love LMSY and their acting the show is def still good but I jsut thought the drugging to asking her to move in to her officially saying yes to them being together all in one episode was crazy work 😭 like are we never going to mention again AI really did drug her like bro idc if u are skeeming drugging someone u r into is not it….

ngl I def didn’t like the fact that Ai drugged Maple…. this never happened in the novel and tbh Ai character in the novel would have never done something like that… I find it a little weird how they are shifting the characters personalities like this tbh. in the novel maple never tried to do anything secretive or dirty to get information and her father was very supportive however I feel like they intensified the fathers’ here and made them less supportive. AI’s father was okay with playing dirty from the beginning but we never really saw this intense turmoil between Ai and her father. idk I also think something about the pacing is off when it comes to their relationship as well… but imma just blame that on the 8 episodes im just a little shocked about the first scene where she gets drugged like??? why did we do that????
