The editing really treating us like we have memory loss, why did they keep repeating the same scenes and having…
I think if we extracted all of the flashbacks and future scenes from every episode, we would have an average of 30 minutes of new scenes per episode, which remotely is not enough for a show with 8 episodes to fully develop all their characters
I won't extend this much further because I've said all I think about this series in the previous comments so there's…
Agreed with every part of this statement, it’s upsetting considering I was really looking forward to this show during the pilot and trailer but, sadly the production did not leave me wishing the next 7 days would pass by already so I could have the next episode.
The editing really treating us like we have memory loss, why did they keep repeating the same scenes and having…
no literally if we extracted all of the flashback scenes and future scenes that we had seen 1 million times I think each episode would have averaged 30 full minutes
I only read half of the novel but then I dropped it because at first, it looked like it was following the novel…
This right here!!! I feel like there’s so much left unsettled throughout the show because of the way the pacing and storyline proceeded. Honestly, I would’ve also enjoyed some more elements of them practicing their careers rather than us only focusing on two separate villains at two separate times with two separate plot lines that are completely different. We’ve focused so much time on two separate villains that I think most of the show just revolved around Them. I also understand that the premise of the show s that Karan is meant o try and save Kliao on numerous occasions at numerous times, however, I just find the villains so boring that it’s so underwhelming to watch. I don’t know maybe I’m just ranting and complaining, but there’s just something off about the show that makes me feel like eh that was really mid.
this show is a bit frustrating, they only had 8 episodes, and considering the fact that R4U was able to (imo)…
I only read half of the novel but then I dropped it because at first, it looked like it was following the novel so I didn't want any spoilers for the show. I'm not sure what the differences are between the novel and the show however, I find the show incredibly underwhelming to watch. I fear that we have not only wasted so much screen time on the secondary couple, but we wasted so much screen time being shown the same flashbacks, and future scenarios in almost every single episode. Honestly, we have seen the wedding incident and the rooftop flashback more than we have seen Karan and Kliao being in a relationship. I feel like the pacing for the villain is also so poorly executed. Why in the world did they just give him a full episode to establish his storyline when they could have dropped hints and clues throughout the series??
Honestly, I keep forgetting this show is still releasing new episodes due to how underwhelming the show is and how no one is really talking about it. I feel like today's episode was good however something just isn't lining up in terms of the episodes/how the story is progessing. I feel like they really just shoved Fiat's storyline into one episode after really showing no clues or hints about him throughout half the series. Like I feel like there should have been more buildup throughout the episodes but this series has spent 1/3 of almost every episode showcasing either the same flashbacks or the same future scenes which is literally just taking up so much time. (aka their wedding scene and the scene where she jumps off/gets shot off the building like we have seen these same exact clips in every episode i swear)
THAK YOU!!! I literally watch the trailer before watching the first ep, but I still think is really weird to have…
Right? I haven't watched this show and i am not sure if I will tbh. I think the only thing that could really save this show in for me is if the acting is superb and the plot outside of the relationship is also superb. It's really hard to shake the premise that they were reincarnated to look like the opposite person's family. Unless if they address this in the show to somehow not make it weird I don't understand why someone would come up with this as a main plot. The age gap is troubling but also the way i look at it, they aren't actually a couple in real life so i don't rlly feel like it's a big problem since they are just acting and as long as they are both adults it's okay.
Are you new? Lol at least its just a look. Usually theyre cousins or step brothers that arent really brothers…
Idk what's up with the incest stories and gl/bl but its always giving me the ick and don't get me started on the whole "step sisters" but not actually sisters so it's okay for them to be together phenomenon 😭
What do you meannn she looks like your grandmother? But even besides that it looks weird.... the directing. i…
Wait yes! I've been looking for this comment and I even commented on this. This is def weird asf like why would you be interested in someone that looks EXACTLY like ur family member???
Wait so you are telling me the premise of this show is that their families are enemies however one of the girls looks like the other girl's great grandmother??? wtf why would she be attracted to someone who looks exactly like her great grandmother?? I'm so confused who came up with this concept??? It would be different if this had to do with past lives and reincarnation where the great grandmother looks like the great grand daughter but why tf would they switch families like that's just weird.. is it not???
I need Ting Ting to stay with Ning. She knows what she wants, she listens, doesn't neglect Ting Ting, wants to talk to her, wants her to be happy and is always there. Yi Ming and Ting Ting are not compatible tbh Yi Ming prioritizes everything else other Ting Ting every single time. Anytime Ting Ting wants to help her or be involved it's a problem. Yi Ming just neglects Ting Ting and doesn't communicate with her at all. I think if Ting Ting wasn't in love with Yi Ming since highschool she would be more open to dating someone else, however since this is her first love and only love for the past 15 years it is difficult for her to get past it. She need to stay with Ning tbh they are so much more compatible and likable as a couple sadly, I don't think the writers would do that since we started out with Ting Ting and Yi Ming (even though I truly think this show should have the exception here cause they do not work together at all and I find it incredibly draining to watch Ting Ting get her spark ripped right out of her because of someone she loves.)
wait im slow did kotoha's mother sexually abused her & her brother? & the law only saw her brother as the victim…
Yes this is exactly what happened. The law at the time stated that sexual abuse may only occur between the opposite sex. This lead to Kotoha, hating herself and her name because no one was willing to listen to her story and her brother was the only named as a victim, leading to her feeling resentment towards her name. Plus her name haas multiple meanings one of them having to do with basically being a sexual figure making her feel like she is cursed and forgotten due to her name
I think if there is a season 2 there will be more GL in it considering the feedback from the audience and whether they want to take that aggressive step towards it especially in Korea
