The Glory (airing in 2025)is not a detective drama but it looks into corruption and buried past issues, they married…
What's your problem? Everyone has different tastes, and your statement indirectly insults mine. If you don't like The Glory, then you're not their target audience, but I am.

Do you hate it when other people like a drama you don't like or what? Because I didn't recommend this to you

Can you, guys, give me recommendations for good cdramas like this one? I rarely watch cdramas, so dunno what's…
The Glory (airing in 2025)

is not a detective drama but it looks into corruption and buried past issues, they married and take advantage of each other because they have their own goals and the romance can be said to be thinner than this drama. Both of them are very mature, serious and have their own plans and i think their chemistry is great The cast, set and costume is different style from this cause the set is in Ming Dynasty but also stunning.

If you watch it i would love to hear your thought about it

Seeing them act informal after resigning from their positions and playing around made me laugh reminding me of a friend who just resigned from a job with a toxic environment. It's really similar lol

My favorite Li Peiyi costume changed from the black one with a fox fur cape around her neck to the red one with a similar cape and headband in the final episode.

Her arrogant manner as she walked through the snow, her domineering demeanor, and her haughty expression as she tortured the Right Minister were simply stunning.

I know for sure Peiyi was holding back a wide smile when she read out the emperor's death sentence for Chu Minzhong.

The one about the cult babies and father's revenge - Auspicious Time Secret. Absolutely fked up what that family…
Ah right, about the crazy ghost woman. How could her eyes, which initially attracted the emperor but later be ignored because of her eyes. I sometimes have an ick for the emperor

My favorite case is "Flowers on the Wall," where the truth is revealed even in unimaginable ways. It also moved me how the women work together to find a solution. Then there's "Bloody Talent," which highlights gender inequality, also love the plottwist here. And "Auspicious Time Secret," which horrified me about how much women suffer, and delighted me with a father's revenge for his daughter.

What is your fav case?

I love these actors but this was not it. Bai Lu for me is like IU in Korea, she should be picking only best scripts…
Although it's just a rumor, I've heard that Yu Zheng (BaiLu's boss) has a controversial management style: he's often criticized for "using" his top artists (like Bai Lu and Wang Xingyue, who are already popular) to "elevate" newer or lesser-known artists in his agency.

I can see this in the supporting characters, most of whom are from the same company. However, I'm glad BaiLu accepted this drama; I can see other potential in her here. I hope she gets many more better projects in the future.

I want to appreciate the duel between Lu Chongsan and Li Peiyi again, their fight was very intense in ep 29 so I go back for their previous meet when Peiyi was ambushed by him the first time and was saved by Shifu.

Lu Chongsan's duel with Shifu was also truly excellent, with Shifu's spear-wielding style truly captivating. The fights in this drama are agile, ruthless, stylish, and clean.

The fight choreography is really beautiful and interesting even when rewatched, the one that still sticks in my mind is the fight when the case 'flower grows on the wall' using cloth and a long chair then tied him up. After that she drips wax on his eyes.. like ugh!!! I was on the edge of my seat

It's always the person doing the right thing who faces the greatest resistance. Also, I think the actress's supporters…
I agree about we should calm down but I think they just went too deep into the drama, I personally enjoy everyone's opinions like witch side the are taking, this also happened when Feud aired. (Even angst where both characters hate each other ) Then after that, they changed sides, regretting and crying over the death of one of them. They only mention the characters when they say things like that, not the actress or actor.

And I don't think this is a crazy fight, they are just arguing and expressing opinions.

The discussion and debated for ep 29 was what I was waiting for from the drama, it was really lively and really got us into the drama. I enjoyed how people expressed their opinions and whose side they were on, I went back and forth between MDL, XHS, X, and Douyin comments to read every opinion.

This is getting interesting here

I noticed a pattern: Peiyi always showed tenderness to the victims who committed crimes for revenge. She listened, sympathized, and even grieved for them, rather than judging them. She also sought a way out for them, even though they were already resigned and ready to die according to the palace's punishment.

She had a well-thought-out plan like all the victims in her previous cases (This means she will also be a criminal and will be sentenced to death if she is caught/admits her guilt), but Most of them sacrificed their lives to drag the perpetrator to revenge because they didn't get justice from the court so... I wouldn't be mad if Peiyi ended up dying after her revenge.

we knew from the start that she had a bad temper. It took someone like her Master to control Li Peiyi, but he was gone. Now Huaijin was there to accompany her, not control her. Huajin's presence was more powerful because he didn't try to control Peiyi; he was able to make her restrain herself for him.

I love the conflict between them, it's not the first time they've had different ways of dealing with a problem, but this time it involves their lives and feelings. I don't want to judge who's right or wrong, but I try to understand both of their actions and feel that both of their actions and reactions have valid reasons.

Anyone else find it kinda weird for them to have a case dedicated to a amazing female doctor kill her off for…
I don't think it was entirely random. The first doctor was there to raise the issue of women not having the right to study independently and be promoted simply because they were women. The emperor became aware of this issue, and the rules were finally changed.

I feel regret over her death, as her extraordinary talent was wasted, but her death had a valid reason for me. Her friend did everything for her and even died for her, so she probably felt guilty since.. childhood. She will always remember him because she continues to use his name and identity.

For me, The second doctor is a successful form of the first doctor's struggle and shows that there is actually more than one talented person being suppressed and we don't know it just because the unfair rules have not been changed.
