If you came here to check reviews before watching Newtopia, please take a moment to read mine!

If you’re a fan of Korean zombie dramas, you know that each one has its own unique style. Train to Busan and All of Us Are Dead are completely different from each other, and Newtopia is no exception—it brings something fresh to the genre.

I’ve seen many people saying, "Not my type" or "Not worth watching," but if you look at their comments, most of them only watched one or two episodes before judging.

Yes, the first two or three episodes might feel a bit slow, but trust me—if you stick with it until the end, it’s absolutely worth it!

I had no expectations going in, and I honestly didn’t think Jisoo’s acting would stand out, but she proved me wrong. She was absolutely fantastic!

Although we don’t see some of the cast members as often, by the time you finish watching, you’ll realize just how talented they all are. The entire cast delivered incredible performances, making Newtopia a truly memorable series.

So if this drama intrigues you, give it a chance—you won’t regret it!

The Best Action-Comedy K-Drama Ever!

If I didn’t write a review for this drama, it would be a crime!

Let’s start with the cast. I began watching Undercover High School with zero expectations. In fact, I wasn’t even sure if I would finish one episode. But in the end, I watched the entire drama, and now, it’s my favorite K-drama ever!

I originally started this drama because of Kim Minju, my favorite 4th-gen K-pop idol. Other than her, I wasn’t familiar with the rest of the cast, including the main leads. But now? I’m a huge fan of all of them! The director did an amazing job casting the perfect actors for this drama.

Now, let’s talk about the storyline. I had no idea about NIS agents before watching this, but now I’m genuinely interested in them. The mix of action, comedy, suspense, and even romance was executed perfectly. I honestly have no words to describe how incredible the plot was!

Not to mention, the OST, cast, and cinematography—everything was on another level! If you’re still hesitating, just start watching it. You won’t regret it!

And am I the only one who thinks the ending hinted at a Season 2? Hae Seong becoming a homeroom teacher… could this mean another undercover mission? I don’t know, but I really need another season! I’m already missing this drama so much!

💥 Undercover High School is, without a doubt, the best action-comedy K-drama ever! 🎬🔥

A Hidden Gem Worth Watching

I recently rewatched Love Next Door for the second time, and I must say, this drama deserves more appreciation than it gets. When I first watched it last year while it was airing, I was busy with exams and couldn't fully concentrate. But even then, I loved it. This time, watching it again with full attention, I realized just how much depth this drama has.

Many people say it's boring and not worth watching, but I honestly don’t understand why. Love Next Door is a beautifully crafted slow-burn romance, deeply rooted in real life. It’s not just about love—it’s about friendship, family, and personal growth. There are no over-the-top villains or dramatic twists, just realistic and heartfelt storytelling.

I found myself relating so much to Seok Ryu, and I know many girls would feel the same. She’s a character that reflects real-life struggles, emotions, and growth. And then there’s Seung Hyo—a true green flag male lead, but not in an unrealistic, fairy-tale way. He’s written as a genuine, kind, and understanding person, making their relationship feel even more authentic.

While Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner are getting all the hype, Love Next Door remains a hidden gem. The director did an amazing job with the casting, and every character feels perfectly placed.

If you’re hesitating to watch it, I truly recommend giving it a chance. Sometimes, the best dramas aren’t the loudest ones—they’re the ones that quietly touch your heart.

Melo Movie: A Fresh and Emotional Journey of Love and Growth

First of all, all the actors who acted in this movie did better than I thought. In fact, there was a freshness in the first episode. I really like stories with this kind of cinematography.

The chemistry between Choi Woo Shik and Park Bo Young is perfect. Even if this is not as full romance as I thought, I would personally like to have this kind of love. That kind of romance is there.

This was more than just another story. There was something to learn from almost every character and there were many places similar to our lives.

Also, the OST is very beautiful. Even if you don't pay attention to the OST while watching the drama, you are now listening to it. It is also very beautiful..

It's a really fresh story. People who are trying to move forward with their personal problems in their lives. Meanwhile, there are people who fall in love with beauty and meet at the wrong time.

A very beautiful and fresh story. Although there was no heavy emotions in the first episode, the last three or four episodes were full of emotions.

I like the character of Mu-bee and Ko-Gyeom and their love story. It's a very healthy love story that gives both of them their personal freedom and understands each other's flaws.

"Tangerines"? A Drama That Feels Like Life Itself

Our lives are like tangerines, sometimes sweet, sometimes unbearably sour. This drama beautifully captures the reality of ordinary people’s lives, no villains, no exaggerated luxury, just raw emotions and everyday struggles.

At first, I didn’t even want to watch this drama. But now, I can confidently say that watching it was one of the best decisions of my life.

After Moon Lovers, this is the one drama that made me cry from the very first episode. There were moments I laughed, moments I felt anger, and moments I simply couldn’t hold back my tears. It’s more than just a drama, it’s an experience.

On a personal level, Tangerines hit me hard. As the eldest daughter in my family, I have always struggled with the burden of responsibility. I never wanted to be the eldest, I was just born into it. While my parents favor their youngest son, I have to work tirelessly to fulfill their dreams. It’s an exhausting reality, one filled with guilt and unseen sacrifices.

And yet, what touched me the most was Gwan Sik. I don’t have a father like him. This drama reminded me that while we often say money is everything, it means nothing if you don’t have the love and support of someone like Gwan Sik, a father, a partner, someone who truly sees you.

Many may see Tangerines as a story meant for women, but in my eyes, it’s also a lesson for fathers. Gwan Sik represents the kind of love, protection, and support every child deserves but not everyone receives.

The OST, the cast, the plot...everything is top-notch. But will I rewatch it? Probably not. I don’t think I can cry that hard again… but maybe, if I ever have a really hard time, I’ll come back to it.

Still, this is my comfort K-drama. The best of the best.

If you’re thinking about watching it, don’t hesitate. Just make sure to have some tissues ready.

🍊🧡🧡
