The last five episodes of Road to Success had me bawling, furious, excited, laughing, and deeply moved. What an emotional rollercoaster! From the very first episode to the finale, I was either laughing or crying.
The characters' backstories made the entire series feel so much more meaningful and emotionally rewarding. Every episode added depth to the story, and not once did it feel dragged out.
This is easily my favorite sports drama, second only to Prince of Tennis. I absolutely love youth dramas like this. They're filled with hope, determination, friendship, and life lessons that remind us of the best parts of being human.
Love this line. "True warriors don't run on a smooth road, but break through the narrow paths."
May we all find the courage and strength to face life's adversities and keep breaking through every obstacle, just like the characters in this incredible story.
Kudos to the entire production team for creating such an inspiring series, and congratulations to all the cast for bringing these unforgettable characters to life. What a beautiful journey from start to finish!
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh these kids had me crying in the previous episodes and made my heart leap for joy for the episode today, and they are finally together! Much love for everyone!
Initially started watching this because of Esther Yu and Chen Jing Ke, but all the boys in the football team are winning me over. They are just so adorable! The preparation for the English test part was really hilarious! 😂
I've always loved a sports drama. The determination to win every setback is always inspiring. "If you don't try your best, luck won't favor you." Love this! Hope this will be good throughout and avoid unnecessary cliche. 🫶
I was obsessed with this drama few weeks ago now i am struggling to finish it idk why😭
I feel the same way. I think it comes from how the story leans into a cliche K-drama trope we’ve seen in recent like Vincenzo and Queen of Tears, which feels heavily inspired by the massive success of Crash Landing on You. I guess if you’ve been watching K-dramas for two decades, you start to notice the patterns. That said, I still think it’s better than many recent releases, though to be fair, I haven’t watched as many in the past few years. I love IU and Byeon Woo-seok, but part of me also feels like Bae Suzy could have been a really strong fit for the role. Anyway, just my opinion.
To those who keep criticising Esther’s lines, her voice or her acting, you need to understand this:Actors are…
Couldn't agree more. Too much hate is thrown on her. And her bubbly character and voice are part of her established identity. I guess not everyone is aware of "individual differences" and just obstinately opinionated people. Individual preferences also exist. If you don't like her, then don't watch her shows and just stop criticizing her. She still got a lot of fans who love her just the way she is. 👌
