I think it’s because the plot jumps through different timelines and she basically dies 3x. Every time we see her with JJY, they’re wearing different costumes from different dynasties, so it really feels like they’re living in completely separate worlds, like, the story is showing multiple lifetimes or parallel realities where their fate keeps changing, but they’re still somehow destined to meet each time, even if it ends in tragedy.

I don’t even want to talk about TEF anymore, that drama has been drowning in hundreds of rumors every year, so I’m a bit traumatized by drama rumors atp🤣. But VOS is a completely different case, I’ve never seen a director who updates so consistently and openly. GJM keeps posting about VOS, sharing progress and giving little hints, which really shows how confident and excited he is about the project. It feels like he’s personally invested in VOS and wants it to air as soon as possible.

Even with huge investment support, a drama can still end up delayed because of platform scheduling, internal company decisions, post-production problems or even actor-related issues, like contract conflicts, image controversies, or pending approvals tied to their past works. So it really depends on how all these factors line up.

Actually, it’s very possible for this drama to air earlier, especially if it already has investors on board. Sometimes, when there’s strong investment interest, production companies can move things forward even while filming is still ongoing. There are cases where a drama airs just days after the distribution license is issued, so the timeline can be surprisingly fast. My only wish is that GJM can finish the post-production work, especially the dubbing edits, as quickly and smoothly as possible, so we can finally see it broadcast sooner.

You already know what that questions implies. If you truly support someone, you wouldn’t start conversations with backhanded comments disguised as “concern” or “just asking.”
