Look, I didn’t mean to say and I don’t want my words to be taken as meaning that all four leads are equally popular. But I also won’t let Rui’s name be left behind, like saying, ‘The 3 leads are popular, but Rui isn’t.’ No way😭 I just can’t let that happen 😭. I haven’t seen many dramas release reuters as frequently as VOS did. Some dramas barely put anything out and even when they do, it’s usually limited to just the main leads.
VOS was completely different. Not only were the 4 main leads constantly featured, but even the entire supporting cast and guest roles were getting reuters. That kind of exposure clearly means a huge budget and a very deliberate promotional strategy. They were basically building hype throughout the whole filming period instead of waiting until post-production. So it’s pretty safe to say they already invested a lot of money early on and it paid off. A lot of people are now eager to watch the drama because of all those reuters they’ve already seen. Even without an official trailer or posters at the time, the buzz was already there and the anticipation just kept growing. So don't question GJM, he's already done his best and planned this well. Let's be patient☺️
"The World of Flowers" is currently in full swing of preparation. A photoshoot for the collaborating magazine will be held this month, and a new interview with producer and script supervisor Jia Lu will be released in January. Additionally, January will see the shooting of promotional materials, test shoots, and script readings. Filming will officially begin after the Spring Festival. She didn’t mean they’re the same thing, she’s saying they’re tied together. The major step is definitely the censorship review, because that’s where the content actually gets checked and approved. The distribution license is more like the official stamp that says drama is ready to air but it can’t happen unless the drama has already cleared censorship. So in practice, once censorship is passed, the drama is READY, the license just makes it official. If it got delayed, it's because of scheduling. It’s tied together, but censorship is really the big gatekeeper.
So that doll is really Luwuyi? I keep wondering how she even ends up like that, will she move around acting like a confused little doll or will she suddenly turn human the moment Jiling or Longshen says some magic words? I can’t be sure if she’s actually the doll, but thinking about it just makes me even more excited to watch it. This rumours are circulating online and JJY's ELLE january issue will release in January so it means VOS is really coming in January 2026🤞😭
