One of JJY’s fans already explained this clearly and to be honest, it’s mostly JJY fans who have been following…
I’m so tired of explaining this. JUJINGYI’s CONTRACT HAD ALREADY EXPIRED and they’ve already gone to court multiple times, not because she’s trying to terminate anything, but because Siba allegedly forged her signature and is now pushing a completely different story. She doesn’t even have an issue continuing her work, yet Siba keeps dragging her down.

It's so frustating how people keep twisting this like she’s the problem, when in reality she’s been handling everything legally and staying quiet, instead of using public sympathy while siba keeps making noise and trying to shift public perception.
And tbh, I feel like there’s more going on in the background when it comes to VOS. The lack of promotion and silence from the platform doesn’t just feel random and it's not about siba. But saying they cast JJY knowing she was “problematic” doesn’t even make sense, because at the time of filming, she was actively working with no restrictions, and this issue wasn’t being pushed the way it is now.

this situation is being blown out of proportion and JJY is the one taking unnecessary blame when she’s clearly been dealing with it the proper, legal way from the start.

Well, it’s mainly the director/producer who should be blamed for casting an actress with an unresolved contract…
First of all, JJY DOESN'T HAVE ANY CONTRACT ISSUE. Her contract simply EXPIRED and she’s fully free to work. It’s just SIBA MAKING NOISE and stirring things up online. There’s no legal barrier preventing her from filming.
So blaming the director or producer for casting her doesn’t make sense. If there were any problem, the real issue would be Siba trying to manipulate the situation and exaggerate things, maybe even forging claims about her contract. The drama’s delay or “trouble” isn’t JJY’s fault, it’s all external noise from Siba. GJM and WYX took a perfectly reasonable decision, JJY is a talented actress, AVAILABLE and professional. Any backlash is just people misunderstanding the situation because of Siba’s antics.

okay blame jjy🥴🥴that's why I've been saying blaming siba for this is like blaming jjy🤣🤣🤣
Actually, everyone misinterpreted Pia’s point. She was likely saying that the airing of the drama has nothing to do with Siba, no matter how much noise they’re making. But that random69 user framed it like Youku has no issues and that everything is because of Siba, which isn’t really accurate.
Even if Siba keeps posting or tries to drag JJY or VOS, it wouldn’t actually stop the drama from airing. At most, it’s just noise like, “keep talking if you want, we’ll still release this drama.” That kind of situation usually doesn’t block a platform like Youku from moving forward.
The real question is why Youku isn’t releasing materials yet. That’s what people should be focusing on, because it suggests there might be another issue behind the scenes that has nothing to do with Siba. Platforms don’t usually delay promotions just because of external drama unless there’s something more concrete affecting scheduling, approvals or internal decisions.
At the same time, JJY’s fans are understandably upset with Siba, especially since Siba keeps pushing negative hot searches against her. From their perspective, it feels like Siba is deliberately shaping public opinion and using VOS being silent as an opportunity to fuel hate. But blaming everything on Siba alone oversimplifies the situation and ignores the possibility that the delay is coming from Youku’s side or other production-related factors.

What is the disagreement between Siba Media and Ju Jing Yi? Does anyone know what the issue is they unable to…
JJY publicly announced the expiration of her contract on June 16, 2024, which coincided with her 30th birthday. Normally, members under siba’s management, esp those from SNH48 are free to terminate their contracts when they turn 30 or at the end of their standard 10 yr contract. At that point, Siba had even expressed gratitude for JJY’s contributions.

However, suddenly, around midnight on June 17, the day after JJY’s birthday, siba posted an announcement claiming that JJY had signed a 20 YEAR CONTRACT. JJY had already clarified multiple times that she had no such agreement and had taken legal action against Siba for forging her contract. In fact, JJY’s attorney released her official contract to prove the truth AND JJY EVEN INVITED THEM TO THE COURT 3X BUT THEY REFUSED TO APPEAL.

Following this, Siba began publicly talking about JJY’s salary and the “amount they spent on her,” as if that somehow justified their actions. But JJY’s career over the past two years after her birthday, has been thriving in business independently and successfully managing her own projects. From a practical standpoint, it makes no sense to believe Siba’s claims, they are clearly part of a smear campaign aimed at discrediting JJY and generating PUBLIC ONLINE HATE.

Blaming Siba is like blaming JJY too. If you believe JJY has no personal issues affecting the drama, then logically you have to acknowledge that Siba also didn’t cause any problems. Siba had nothing to do with the drama being blocked, any delays or issues aren’t her responsibility. It’s important to separate personal disputes from the actual production, because conflating them only spreads unnecessary blame.

No, it's not. Let's be positive. Btw, GJM already changed his pen name back to what he used before, so it's like he’s really pushing VOS, it might actually be coming in April.

But He always changing his pen name, Gu Xiaosheng for MJTY and Zhang Yimin for FOF so it's not surprise. One big reason is project separation.

No it's not, the investment promos are actually real. They’re posted on official event sites, where platforms like YK showcase their upcoming dramas to investors and partners.

There are actually a lot of dramas that end up airing without heavy promotions, and VOS might not even need a big push. It already gained massive attention during filming, so many reuters, on set photos and constant buzz basically acted as free promotion. Though, the rumored April release is still unconfirmed, so it’s better to take it with a grain of salt for now. At this stage, “seeking investment” sounds less like a drama that’s ready to air and more like a project that’s still in the development.

Sorry, what it has to do with Jiuchuan? 😅 If you want someone to chase after JJY so foolishly and no metter…
The attitude here kind of reminds me of JJY’s character in Mr. Swimmer. I didn’t really like her character there, which is why I never continued watching the drama. Still, I can separate that from this, I appreciate your creativity and wild imagination. It’s interesting to see how you explore different dynamics and ideas, even if it’s not always my personal preference

Who is the fourth brother?
Actually it’s lao si 老四, which gives more of a “big/older” vibe, but he’s more commonly known as Xiao si (小四), this fan just called him lao si as a playful opposite of xiao si “little" switching it up for humor.

Exactly 😅 It’s confusing for sure 😭 But yeah, I think they’ll mostly just apply it to the main leads. For supporting or minor roles, viewers don’t really pay attention to stroke count, they just care about who the ML and FL are. So at least for the main pair, it kind of works, even if the whole system still feels messy and overcomplicated 😆

It’s totally different in chinese😭It’s all about the brush/pen strokes. To count 鞠, you break it down, the 革 radical on the left and 曲 on the right, then count every stroke, horizontals, verticals, dots, left and right-falling strokes, and upward strokes. Altogether, it comes to 17 strokes. That’s why her surname is considered a high stroke name, which makes billing by stroke count tricky for her 😆
