I’m glad to see she finally got cast in another drama where they’re actually portraying her as the pretty person she is and the male lead doesn’t look chopped up either

She always seems to get cast with all the good looking male leads, while a very pretty actress only gets paired with chopped older men.

This actress honestly looks like Hong uncle. They’re clearly trying to hide her cheeks with that hairstyle and force a cute image but it’s not believable at all. I’m surprised, because there’s no shortage of naturally cute actresses in C-ent, why to cast her. I watched her in mjtu and she was decent there. This cute image isn't suiting her at all

Not cruel to her? What could be more cruel than cheating on her, bringing the affair child home, making the world believe it’s their child and then giving the entire inheritance to that affair child?

I can’t help but compare the ML’s mother’s story with Seri’s mother’s story from CLOY. Here, she’s been depressed for years because her husband was unfaithful and brought his illegitimate child home. Now she’s finally getting divorced, as she should.
But in CLOY, when the mother was cold toward Seri, the illegitimate child, she was portrayed as a negative character. By the end, she ended up loving Seri like her own daughter and stayed happily married to her husband and viewers even celebrated that.
I guess it really depends on who the illegitimate child is. If it’s the main lead, everyone automatically sides with them.

Knowing what the director and the male actor turned out to be like in real life, I can never accept the excuse of “it’s just a movie.” No matter how much they try to shield themselves behind artistic freedom, stories like this don’t come from a normal, well adjusted perspective. Depicting violence or extremity up to a point is one thing but creating something this unhinged makes me side eye everyone involved. Apparantly the actress left the industry after this

I was watching it and thought maybe they had some age gap but I didn’t expect it to be this big. They have amazing chemistry despite that.

I understand that but that doesn’t mean we can’t criticize them. We can enjoy the drama without justifying her.

I wasn’t surprised by that tbh. Her mother used to abuse her and children do hold grudges. She’s a sociopath here and she was probably thinking she’s better off without her mother.

I feel so bad for her boss. If he were doing all this because he wanted to pursue her romantically, I wouldn’t feel bad at all, especially because of their age gap. I can’t believe how many people I saw were defending her here. Having past trauma doesn’t give her the right to ruin innocent people. She feels exactly like her parents. You can argue they made her that way or that it’s just genetics. That man was simply being a decent human being.I don’t think we need to defend every main character.

Yeah but I’m surprised at the part where she even figured it out, because most asian kids her age usually think married couples automatically have children

I just started watching it and the little girl instantly guessed that the boy’s real father might be the chauffeur just from seeing the picture. I mean, I get the other things she did considering she’s a sociopath but how did she guess that? At her age, I used to think being married automatically meant having a baby😭
