yep I do this too but sometimes I lose interest when the plot doesn't go the way I want or i end up knowing too much so I lose interest in the drama and then end up not finishing the drama

was re-watching legend of the female general and yan xiao reminds me *a little* of chu zhao at the beginning, hopefully yan xiao won't end up the way chu zhao did bc yan xiao is FAR BETTER than that guy

so like considering the recent trend of cdramas I'd assume yes I haveno idea what happens in the novel and they've heavily diverted from the novel so I wouldn't worry about that but before this i watched legend of the female general and summit of our youth and they well made the 2nd ml into a villain... especially in summit ofour youth where the 2nd ml goes very much out of character and does some bad stuff and gets a bad ending and ifeel like that's where situ ling is going😭

yess abruptly asking for her hand in marriage and stuff also he was very unusually excited 😭

what did he mean by "am I alive now only because of you?"
was he only talking about the GMD when he said "so you know everything" because how is that 'everything' that's just one thing 'everything' should be more than 1 😭
also what did he mean "you have kept your identity hidden from me..why didn't you use it before?" like doesn't he already know she's from yaoguang mountain? or does he already suspect that she's lying about something else?
also didn't he put a blood seal or something on the GMD specifically so that she doesn't take it then how was she supposed to take it why did he ask that HELP IM SO CONFUSED ABOUT THAT CONVERSATION 😭
and she didn't say anything when he asked if she'll lie in the future or if her feelings for him is real which makes me think he probably knows she's still lying to him or will lie to him in the future and yet he chooses to trust her MY HEART😭😭

ALSO HEAR ME OUT WHAT IF lord hanfeng wasn't a good person in the past and manipulated yan xiao as in what if he ordered the guards to bully yan xiao so that hanfeng can come in at the right time and save him to make him feel indebted to hanfeng and switch to hanfeng's team because we know already he does that considering xun ming and xinliu's story
AND I FEEL BAD FOR MENG YANQIU like he can be dumb sometimes which makes him easy to manipulate BUT he's a nice guy WHY HURT HIM
atp I care more about jbz knowing that ming yi is dying before him knowing that she's ming xian but if he finds out she's dying before he finds out she's ming xian then maybe the angst would be less(as he might think her lying is justified if she's dying) but I want angst too😭
