Ok I was going to not watch this because most comments said ep 1 wasn't good but then afterwards lots of people said ep 2 is good so I was going to watch ep 1 for background/context however I just watched ep 1 I quite enjoyed it, it was strong for a first episode also made me laugh a bit
Intrigued to see where this goes

Ohhh thank you for the explanation that makes sense because then the gf doesn't really have any background on how to play the role because there wasn't one in the webtoon that's insightful

See a lot of people asking if it's any good, I'm halfway through episode 4(and only 4 episodes are out so far) and my notes are
1 FML is wildly miscast in this role and does not suit it at all/isn't a strong actress
2 storyline is all over the place and can feel disorienting and hard to keep up with what is happening
3 sometimes the camera angles are not great and ruins the flow of the show
4 scenes are weirdly cut together
5 this is a show that looks like it should be really good but isn't, kind of hard to keep track of characters and who is who
Overall pretty underwhelming however beginning was kind of interesting but I don't think acting editing and storyline were strong enough to support the good start that being said I will finish it just to see how it ends

I don't know tho I'm just assuming tbh I'm finding it really suspicious that he left the apartment I feel like I missed that part cause I was surprised when they said he left to buy more alcohol

Aha I get you I'm on ep 5 now having to watch on 2 times speed might leave it because I just finished the witch's diner which I kept hoping would get better and never did so I'm a bit maxed out on how many shows I'm willing to do that for

@Living Tribunal You make some good points I'll give her the benefit of doubt however I will say all she needed to do in the situation was communicate but instead she ran away
Just my opinion but it does not read like a 9 year relationship with a strong foundation
Maybe the writers should have showed us more of their relationship to solidify our understanding of their bond because all I got was
Girl is always in control gets what she wants
Guy is submissive goes along but seems happy
And then we are thrown into the superhero arc
I'm still going to finish it it can just be disappointed to commit to shows and you want it to be great but something falls short
Mainly people have left positive reviews so I'm hoping it's going to be enjoyable

Omg why do you not think it'll get better currently starting ep 3 I think I'll still be able to hold on even if the FML doesn't get better cause the story isn't about her anyway the superpowers aspect is interesting

She feels two dimensional
It's crazy to start arguing about money when someone just saved you from a burning building, I know that's her role to be money obsessed and it seems like they were trying to use it for comic relief in that scene but come on there's a time and a place
Also even saying she's unsure about their relationship when the guy has basically received a power that's more like a curse shes annoying in my opinion and I wish she could act better for example again in the burning building when she tells him to be careful it's just not believable at all only at the end of episode 2 maybe it gets better

Thought this would be a cool underrated drama
Interesting concept in the beginning absolutely no follow through
5/8 episodes is no more interesting than watching paint dry because unless I'm tripping all the characters do is eat and make a wish in 40 minute episodes that's crazy
Watched last three episodes on 2 times speed and skipped ahead honestly this show was unbearable to watch and such a letdown was expecting good things from FML I like her acting but man this script was a letdown

Would 100% not recommend this to anyone as I'm not sure who the audience for this is supposed to be maybe people who want to fall asleep idk
It was closer to reality TV than a fictional show, if anyone knows come dine with me that's what it's giving
Idk saw on Reddit and here some people like it so maybe there's something to it but this was not for me at all
Cons of the show
-nothing significant happens in 5 hours
-very wishy washy half baked support cast that are just there for the plotline
-have to wait too long to see people receive their wish
-punishments for wishes too harsh
-fml relationship very unnecessary

Ok even though you are raising valid points I don't believe that his personal affairs should affect his professional affairs he just said he respected his grandad that was it what else was he supposed to say
In these comments he is being blamed as if he participated in the war
He is just an actor and this does not need to be a controversy at all
