Will drop my full review after finishing the drama, but i just finished the first four episodes and gosh i loved it so much! After a long while a drama has made me feel this giddy and excited! The chemistry between Mu Hee and Ho Jin is just top notch and i m seriously loving where the story is going. The cinematography, the plot, the acting everything is just so beautiful. And i also like the fact that the progression feels so natural and real rather than forced interactions, and i actually find myself laughing at most of the scenes. Every interaction made me look forward to the next one. And as of right now, I am soooo curious to see how Ho Jin will fall for Mu Hee because lol that man is seriously unshakeable. If you're debating on watching this drama or not, I recommend you decide it by your own self rather than letting the negative comments make the decision for you.
Literally all the director and production had to do was remove the label of this being a live action or adaptation and just labelled it as some orv inspired action movie. All this hate is not directed towards the actors, but the ones who made this, and changed literally the entire fricking story and narrative into some pathetic generic af apocalyptic type survival movie! To all you asking why this movie getting so much hate, imagine you love something, you don't only love it, it becomes an integral part of you and settled deep into your heart. You adore it deeply, you cherish it, the love is so intense that you could literally die. You pour so much time into it, you literally devote yourself to that thing, and then someone comes along and takes that thing away and changes it forms and all the aspects and things you adored, cherished, and loved about it, all the while you are sitting there utterly helpless, unable to do a single thing! This is literally how us readers and fans of orv feel! This isn't simply a novel or original source, it is the most famous webnovel out there for a reason! The authors of the webnovel wrote an story that not only touched but settled deep inside the souls of its readers! We adore and love each and every character of orv, they aren't just characters to us but actual people with lives and meanings and emotions and to completely wreck them and turn them into such an abomination pains us! And then those of you that say "then don't watch it, it's not made for you" Are you serious? are you kidding me? Not made for us, the fans and devoted readers of this novel for YEARS, who else then? The fans of the actors? Understandable. Because had they truly cared about us, they wouldn't have put out such a complete and utter nightmare of a movie. Seeing the characters and story that I love so much, obsessed over, cried over, the story that ruined my lifee and wrecked my soul get annihilated and mutilated ike this literally breaks me! So yes, i will continue hating the director who didn't even bother reading the novel and wrote the script off ai and chatgpt, and this disaster of la. The director wasn't blind to the reviews this had been receiving. He could have just announced that instead of a la or adaptation, he is just making a movie inspired by orv that contains some element, this is literally all he had to do!! This show is killing me. That shooting scene was sooo fricking beautiful and the chemistry and everything is literally fire!!!! That last scene was a shocker but it's a melo so what can you expect but utter heartbreak that will shatter your soul. JYB like always totally kills her role as Lee Da Eum, she's literally everything! My heart goes out for her. NGM's character is still a mystery to me, I guess he's going to learn to love through Lee Da Eum cuz her words already seems to affect Lee Je Ha. And lastly, the story! God the story!!!!!!! It's so beautiful, melancholic, emotional, and just so fricking pretty. I am getting addicted to this! Ugh, can the rest of the episodes come out already!
Basically there's a character of grandma who owns a cat and this cat is so funny as she comments and behaves and reacts like a human and it's so hilarious to see.
