Episode 26 is definitely my favorite now. The action scenes were done so well and looked really aesthetic. And honestly, Tian Xi Wei as a female warrior was just amazing—her action felt even better than most male heroes. Her acting in this episode was on another level. Every small expression felt so real. The part where she stood with her eyes closed after defeating Shi Hu gave me goosebumps. And when she found out who Yan Zheng really is, the way her expression changed so quickly—I was completely mesmerized. Such a good episode.
Wow, now we can see both ml and fl's pov and understand why fl is indecisive, the ML is so scheming, god the complexity,he carries, how he goes back to square one , all is part of my plan Ah..it indeed makes it harde for fl to be decisive, and fl has way long connection to her family and master , she just can't abandon them for love, both characters are well written, fl should not be fickle for love, the perfect execution. But as viewers our heart is in Chaos constantly and hurts , how much they go back and forth, and will they ever be happy at the end!
Watched it for Wang Churan after How Dare you? & Are You The One ..i had low expectation but wow...the angst and slow burn romance, wang churan nailed it, sometimes cold and was so cute infront of ML ,too cute. Very likeable fl character...and overall most characters are well written and have their own story which is very good...

Why am i crying for 2 episodes now, waiting patiently for 28 to 32 , i am glad i didn't find this drama too long, or dragged, it is very rare in historical type cdrama to be engaging from beginning to the end
So no one's gonna talk about the background songs, when and where did chinese drama got permission to those amazing soundtrack from english singers/ hollywood, every episode has some new song and bang , so good , never thought it would be this good ...this makes me feel like i am watching some good edit story song
