That's why I'm not looking forward to Ao Deng's return. Because Jin An is Prince Annan. Prince Annan is Jin An. Disappointing in Ao Deng's way of treating Li Shuang in house arrest, or how he act as a husband in the last episode, is weird. Ao Deng might be ruthless in battlefield, but around his family, he's Jin An, a gentle, free-spirited man.

I have to say this. I'm surprised with some of you lack of understanding of human nature. Amnesia won't change someone's character. You only lost some, partial, or all of your memory.

If you were a coward, amnesia wouldn't make you a brave one. If you were not educated, amnesia wouldn't change you into a clever girl. That was not how it worked.

First, it's an adaptation. So I beg to differ, episode 13-26 is the reason why the angst is not draggy. Moreover, they are commanders. It's in their trainings to control their emotions. Li Shuang is not Empress Qin, who is selfish and only think of herself, not her people. Ao Deng is not Su Mu Li or Su Mu Yang. So, yeah.

I love this drama because the leads are in a mature relationship. I'll drop it if they prolong unnecessary angst like KMLM or TPG.

You need to see it from minister's POV to understand them. They lost the first war because Li Shuang let Ao Deng go. It's a capital crime to free the enemy, even after stabbing the grand general. Ao Deng was the one helped his country won that war.

The death of grand general was not Li Shuang fault, but they lost again because Li Shuang freed Ao Deng in the first place.

Su Mu Yang's plan is great, though. He knows Ao Deng loves Li Shuang and will do anything to get her body. He bets everything for the peace between two kingdoms.

Now, if you think the plot is not plotting, how do you want the drama deals with Li Shuang's crime? Or how do you think the best way to wrap this drama?

Yep. We shouldn't forget that Lu Xin was mourning. She'd just lost her best friend. I believe she's not only blaming Ao Deng, but also herself. She could have saved Li Shuang if she and Mo Yin take her to Wuling Mountain.

He used the mask when he was in a battlefield, not in front of his soldiers. And the mask was the most important part in the drama. Shadow Love is not Shadow Love without it.

And, I beg to differ, Shadow Love is way better than LOTFG. 😘

It's normal because many things happen in the drama. I can't forget the library scene because I love Song Yi's OST in the background. Happy rewatching~
