Xue Man (FL) needs poison or medicine to make a felon (Bei Ming) can't move or stand. She doesn't want this wanted detective run away again. Qing Zhuo, the coroner/doctor, gives the wrong one because something distracts him. That's how the no-antidote poison gets into ML's body.
