If you're looking for a romantic or sexual chemistry between leads, you won't get it in this thriller-mystery male lead-centered drama. The leads are professional. Their priorities are solving the crimes, not falling in love again after a major breakup.
Probably would have better to have dropped it early on as something not for you. Even though you got to the end…

I couldn't agree more. So did I! TTEOTM was his only drama I watched. The others were merely not my cup of tea. I had no more expectation about Immortality. It's been too long.

Well, you have to low your expectation to enjoy CD after watching Calming Waves (a.k.a. The Wanted Detective). It has too much romance scene and put aside the main plot. It even has some plot holes while solving some cases.
The book readers won't mind about it, but it's a problem for the drama viewer. Well, it's my opinion.
