The drama editing team also did a great job capturing this in the latest posters. In the first one, YCX is seated very confidently and powerfully, but in the picture behind him, he is kneeling, weak against his desires. In the second one, he is trapped in a cage while looking through the window at YPJ. truly brilliant posters

Since we starting *D-1*, this is my take on ycx that i am waiting to see.

People might hate his character and be waiting to crucify him, but I have a feeling I’m going to be such a fan of his character. Not because of what he’s doing to FL, but because I’m sooo waiting to see him suffer and live in constant torment.

What I love about obsessive characters is that they’re always living in agony. No matter what they do, they can never truly be happy. So I’m waiting for those moments when we get to see him miserable and tormented by his own internal struggles.

He can never find happiness because he has trapped himself in his own fear. His answer out is to control his obsession, but somewhere along the way, that obsession gains control over him. He’s not happy when he’s alone, he’s not happy when she’s with someone else, and he’s not happy when she has power over him. So he'd rather die with that obsession than let go and live in abyss again...

i don't know what is your problem to edit your comment and tell me i internalise people opionions then contradect yourself in the end ... but in case you didn't understand i am was trying to write politly that discussion is welcomed when you say your opioin and not a blind comparison because guess what i also want to enjoy my drama!! .....i also have my opinion you know ....!!

i agree it's a place for discussion but so far i have not seen a discussion ... tens of comments that say "please do be overdo" ... that's not even a discussion !!

so as a oberver you can wait and comment your opioin about the drama when u actually see it. but i think you can agree it's not the best case to see alot of comments mentioning overdo in a discussion about tloa.. it's not simply one or two comments it's even everyday new comment of the same type.
you, as the observers, can also say your concerns about the drama with words without the need of mentioning the other drama name...
concerns and opionins are always welcomed to be discussed .. but continous comparisons just kill the fun for people who have been waiting for this drama for so long. i also come here to discuss the drama but i can't enjoy when half of comments just "overdo that.. overdo this" ..

With YCX level of smirking in the trailers and douyin vedios... I can safely say Pingjun will not be the only one being pregnant during that drama era.

P.s. people who compare the drama/ characters to other dramas needs to grow up and just leave the discussion if they don't want to watch simply don't watch ... there's fans for the drama or leads here wants to simply enjoy watching and discussing whether characters are bad or not..

With the release of alot of new materials .. i have alot to say about the acting of both leads. People might argue about loving or hating the plot but one thing for sure i was again amazed by how good everything in the trailers was. From visual scenery, editing to for sure acting.

Cici really was the perfect casting for this role .. she not simply cute but she portrayed fl to also be fierce in defending her freedom. How cici cried and acted i could see her misery and despair from ycx in the trailer. Also how we get to see here as school student then as grown up. her acting was brilliant.

And as for chenglei, he is topping my exceptions of his acting that was already high to the roof. The trailer left me speechless and totally shocked. I forget everything about how ycx is being abusive and was just speechless at how well chenglei could portray the character from nonchalant smirky to jealous to obsessive to abusive and finally. .. to the most truth of all just weak in front of fl idea of leaving. This being chenglei first role as a red flag i finally see why people told him he will be suited for phyco character he was (literally) killing it haha. And I can't hold my excitement that we will again be blessed of having his og voice in drama along with his ost....

I feel like everyone was complaining about fhe directing choices... while me here loving the dramatic acting and filming but i have a problem with the plot development

i feel low rating maybe because of the plot ... alot of people started watching the drama because of actors and not alot ( including me) don't really like the republican drama plots of unnecessary suffering

when you say "the 2nd half is no way as bad as the first half " do mean as in plot or the directing choices ??

i think this drama should've been done after ep18 .. it gives you HE to her revenge arc and you can make up the rest of the story better youself 😂

i liked the drama so much but i am ganna drop it ... i think revenge story of the first arc is done by ep18 and honestly should've just went from here to building these girls and poor ML life ... but it seems the drama is developing into nonsensce bleak plot ...
