I loved Motel California. From the start it was clear to me the FL had feelings and unresolved issues to work though. I thought it was well done and gave it 9/10.
This one feels…different. The emotional depth isn’t there yet. Hopefully the next episodes dive in a bit more.

Right! and why did he have that photo out to begin with? He’s knows he’s in enemy territory with a new identity. He’s keeping his family history hidden for the sake of revenge but yet keeps his secret family ties out in the open? How these two will pull off a full take over is beyond me. The chairman and family will just be their own undoing and the leads can reap the benefits of it without ever really doing anything.

No idea. No one is talking about this drama. I want to give it a chance but all the characters with the exception of the FL Marie, are already pretty hard to like. I’ll probably watch two more episodes before I decide to stay or go.

Are we watching the same show? Why would she be shattered at the site of him? The chairman is a murderer a few times over. Why would she protect the man who murdered the one she loved most in the world and had a child with?

She’s behaving exactly like she always has which is exactly how she was raised. She’s been very vocal to the chairman about all of this. And rightfully so. He created a monster and she’s let him know it.
The chairman deserves life in prison (or the death penalty).

You comment has me cracking up. But absolutely spot on. I don’t understand how switched at birth could work either. The writing seems to be going that way but it really doesn’t add up. This drama is full of nonsense though so it won’t be surprising if they really do play that card.

Why are all the actions in this drama completely bizarre?
Why would the cops bring the mom, covered in bruises and blood, to the kindergarten? No ID verification? No hospital? No hey let’s go to the station and call the woman your claiming is your daughter? But yeah sure let’s take this crazy woman to a place full of children. sounds like a good plan.
