This should really just be retitled as Mu Deok and His Stooge Bandits. I’m still really struggling to see why they take up so much of the story. A good 80% of this drama has them as the focal point. So unless they pull out a miracle and become the hero’s in the next 2 episodes, then what’s the point?
Or even just lock the door. I mean seriously, lock the door if you’re planning a disappearing act. Especially…
I know right. I thought about that too. There’s no alert system, not even for the pen? It’s pretty comical. I kept waiting for the lawyer to pop on the screen after getting an alert on his phone and watch her go into the secret room, but nope, he knew nothing about it! LOL
I’m desperate for her to not be a boring and annoying cliche who backstabs. So I’m hoping she just seems crazy but is actually very loyal to the FL and helps protect her.
Having a secret room like that, i'd think one would have some kind of measures to tell if someone was knocking…
Or even just lock the door. I mean seriously, lock the door if you’re planning a disappearing act. Especially if you’re trying to hide (a lot) from a very nosy person.
Whats wrong with lucia lmao... she lets the housekeeper back in the house and stays quiet when the woman says…
I know right! If Lucia is on camera going to the third floor then there’s footage of GC following right behind her and leaving without her. How did that not come up? Then the whole seafood stew fiasco. So lawyer dude really just handed over the fixed draw to a random cleaning lady to throw away? He couldn’t be bothered to dispose of it himself? Mr. Chairman just accepts he’s never even so much as kissed his wife and that’s normal? I swear this drama was written by a 13 yo who won a creative writing contest. There are so many holes. I keep watching though. I don’t know why. It’s such a train wreck. Everyone’s plans are always so half baked and just accepted, that’s the way it is. It’s hilarious.
This drama is so much fun. I wasn’t sure I’d love it as much as Queens House but I’m already thinking it might be better. I love how fast things have been revealed leaving me guessing what the next hurdle will be. The cast is fantastic as well. Everyone is morally gray which is my favorite especially when done well. I can see all sides to their characters and the reasons behind them. It’s completely fascinating and I can’t wait to see where this goes.
Its an absolute shame more people aren’t watching this drama.
Strange ending for JiHo: Go live in a foreign country with a man you met a few weeks ago. No goodbye to your mother…
Right! I was thinking the same thing. That poor kid will not only wait for the parents that will never come but what’s Theo supposed to do now? That’s a huge lie that he now has to somehow untangle without JiHo hating him and thinking he’s the liar that took him away. Definitely could have been handled better.
With only one episode left I can confidently say I will not only miss this drama but also the mad dash to the comment section as soon as the episode ends. I’ve loved reading all your comments and theories since day one. It’s been fun to see what everyone comes up with and who’s saying what I’m thinking. Y’all have made my first daily drama a memorable one. Thank you!
I’ll be watching A Graceful Liar on Monday, hope to see everyone again!
is the rating fair? Or are the reviewers downrating it for no legit reason?
With only 2 episodes out it’s hard to say. For some it’s fair because they don’t feel the characters (you can see from comments below). to some it’s too low and for no good reason, they love the characters and how they’re portrayed.
This is super dumb, Lucia is now one of the evil guys, thinking and doing stuff like "I GOT YOUR DAUGHTER."…
Fully agree with Lucia being a contributor to her daughters death and now on a power trip. I will never understand her naïveté at the beginning of the drama. She was a poor single mom in a patriarchal society where single moms are looked down upon. Then add in why she was a single mom. Like come on now, your baby daddy tried to kill your unborn child. That’s not a sheltered life. Her not understanding how the rich will win and never own up was ridiculous. She kept pushing and pushing, making things infinitely worse. I almost stopped watching over it. I stil only watch because I have 3 days a week where it’s a perfect time killer.
and yes the child ~ the child pointed to the placed they went , too much of coincidence that it matches the countries…
I’m not sure about the kid. If this were a 16 or even 12 episode drama you’d be on to something but with only 4 episodes left, that’s a lot of drama to fit in. especially now that a war just broke out. so I hope that plot twist doesn’t happen. there’s too much happening already for only 4 episodes left. unless the next two episodes focus solely on Stella and her true identity, then well yeah actually, that could fit right into it. interesting!!
Guys i have some absurd theories of "what ifs " going in my brain. So listen What if Munju husband a.k.a…
I wondered if he was alive too but I don’t know if he could pull off not breathing when she was practically laying on him trying to protect him. it’s kdrama land though so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities. I also think Stella Young is the mistress. that she approached him with a purpose and locked him in, her “grieving” is for show. It’s far too absurd to be anything else unless she’s just crazy, but that’s possible too 😂
The way they r pronouncing Catherine is really annoying. Imagine we all pronouncing their names like them. U don't…
Some say with 3 syllables Cath-er-in or two, cath-rin would probably be the most common in the US. having lived all across the US, I’ve heard the same names pronounced differently depending on where you are. For ex, Marie, some say it as Mary some say Mah-ree. it all just depends.
Hi everyone I've started this serie 2 EP in ( I always wait for it to be finished so I can binge it if I want…
It’s a very fast paced drama with revenge as the primary focus. I loved it since day one. She’s naive for about 1/2 the drama but when she wises up it’s glorious.
Yeah I wondered how she lost her fashion sense too! I mean what happened that she’s like this?
Which is understandable if she remembered the last 25 years. However, she woke up thinking she’s still a mega star in her early 20s. So its a bit odd for her to continue the frumpy looks she wouldn’t have ever worn during the time period she’s stuck in.
a disappearing act. Especially if you’re trying to hide (a lot) from a very nosy person.
Its an absolute shame more people aren’t watching this drama.
