Was this a filler episode or did I miss something important cause it felt like nothing happened at all. Lucia had to be told about the DNA test cause she never knows anything. Was that really it for episode 101? Do I need to rewatch and not blink?
I kept wanting to use your patented “ffs” watching Stella becoming… I’m not even sure what words to use! All…
Right, I’d peace out too! After all they’ve been through Stella turns her back with zero explanation? How can Lucia forgive her and go back to friends after that? This has been their whole reason for living, to seek revenge on that family. Stella can F all the way off.
but seriously, the fact Lucia hasn’t put 2 and 2 together is hilarious, on par, but still hilarious. I mean come on. They know GC had a child and assume it’s Su Ri. Lucia knows Stella’s son had a relationship with GC and died because of the chairman. Can they really not do the math? Lucia is there just loosing her sh*t knowing full well she’s gotten close to Su Ri and GC and it’s not crossed her mind there could be familial ties?
How long was the bio mom gone before she got into the car accident? How long after the bio mom left did they change…
Yep probably right on being vague for a reason. It’s going to drive me crazy if this whole revenge on the mom could have been avoided had they just had one conversation!
Question, because I can’t remember if they said and I’m trying to understand the timeline.
How long was the bio mom gone before she got into the car accident?
How long after the bio mom left did they change the FL name and move?
I know the mom leaving is indefensible, definitely not trying to argue otherwise. It just seems like she’s been searching for her daughter ever since. So was the accident 3 days in, a month, a year? I want to understand how the dad and step mom justify their decision to move and change the FL name so she couldn’t be found. Then eventually saying she’s dead.
Then with the FL. I can only assume she’s been told the mom never looked for her which the dad knows isn’t true. She went to the prison and tried to explain she was in an accident. He wouldn’t hear it. but again the timeline matters. A week later and he’s kinda ridiculous. A year later and I’d understand. So what has she been told that she wouldn’t even try to find out if the mom looked? Surely she knows it would be a challenge with having a whole different name than she was given.
1] Seonjae got Chairman locked up in some mental institution, on his own accord, to save his own skin. But Gyeongchae…
The first one, she may have questioned the action at first but she was all for it and signed off. The second, that’s all him so it’ll be all the more entertaining when she finds out Se Ri isn’t her daughter at all.
IF he does that will be a major social commentary on the patriarchal dinosaurs, workforce, household politics…
Lol I love standard responses like yours. It’s about as predictable as a romcom. Seriously though, just search. You’ll find your Netflix questions and all the dramas you need to cover whatever issues you want. Just look at My Liberation Notes, My Mister, Itaewon Class for example (and in my country, all on Netflix). If you think they don’t fit then maybe take a step back and really think about the messages being sent.
You do you though. This comment section isn’t for discussing other dramas. Have a good one. 🫶🏻
So I guess the last scene yesterday was a fake-out. I hope this misdirection (if it actually is) doesn’t last…
Nope, Lucia has never acknowledged her part in Mi So’s death. I don’t think that will ever come up either. It should though, she was unjustifiably ridiculous in her actions when she was trying so desperately for an apology.
Regionally like in SK, Malaysia, Indonesia, phillipines and it's actually in top 10 in every country
Both Netflix and Viki releases shows as they air. However, there are some Netflix originals that get released all at once like Dear Hongrang. But shows like Typhoon Family on Netflix is weekly as it airs globally.
This is gonna feel like Motel California, but hear me out, I live for those chaotic dramas where the female lead…
I loved Motel California. From the start it was clear to me the FL had feelings and unresolved issues to work though. I thought it was well done and gave it 9/10.
This one feels…different. The emotional depth isn’t there yet. Hopefully the next episodes dive in a bit more.
Has this become a sitcom? Ml can't even take a simple guess as y he fell unconscious 🤦🏻♀️🙄
Right! and why did he have that photo out to begin with? He’s knows he’s in enemy territory with a new identity. He’s keeping his family history hidden for the sake of revenge but yet keeps his secret family ties out in the open? How these two will pull off a full take over is beyond me. The chairman and family will just be their own undoing and the leads can reap the benefits of it without ever really doing anything.
A Graceful Liar has been interesting, a bit exhausting but interested to see how it’ll play out. Marie, I’ve…
No idea. No one is talking about this drama. I want to give it a chance but all the characters with the exception of the FL Marie, are already pretty hard to like. I’ll probably watch two more episodes before I decide to stay or go.

This drama is so ridiculous it’s comical.
I think the same about the chairman. There’s no way he actually tried to find her.

There are dramas that address those exact issues though and some do very well.
