This is genuinely my favorite bl I have ever watched. The setting is just amazing to see having never been exposed to thai history, it was very new and it was interesting to get to know this new world I have never seen before. This series has a lot of happy and sad moments and I cried so much watching the ending, it was simply beautiful. Although I did feel like something was missing at the end, it left me wanting more and I wished they would have spent at least 10 more minutes to better develop the ending and give us more clarity. Watching the special episode after didn’t really help either, and I was a bit disappointed from that since it doesn’t play into the plot at all and is considered a non canon event. Although again, from the first episode I already knew this series was going to be great and it got me hooked right away. It’s very dramatic but very heartwarming at the same time, I really enjoyed this series and I recommend it to people who love a good romantic story while also being able to immerse yourself into a new world and become attached to well written characters.
