A lot of romance, less story involved
This series really stood out to me because of its characters, and not so much for the plot. I really liked the overall concept they were going with but It relied heavily on romance which was really heartwarming and exciting at times but I just felt like it would have been even more appealing if there was more than just the two couples getting together and being romantic. They could have done so much with the theme and storyline but I felt like there was just a lot lacking in that department. What really saved all of this were the actors, and the way they portrayed their characters felt so real to me and I really enjoyed how each one had certain dynamics with each other like Bison and Kant were an amazing pair in my opinion. FirstKhaotung will always be number one in my list in any drama and I love what they did here, they just match each other so well in their acting and intimacy as well. JoongDunk also did well with Fadel and Style and the character development that Fadel had was really natural and I loved his character especially. I had high hopes for this series and I wouldn’t say i’m that dissapointed. I did enjoy it a lot but again I feel like they could have done sooo much more with this great concept but anyways seeing my bae First throughout the whole series was good enough for me heheWas this review helpful to you?
MY #1 BL EVER
This is genuinely my favorite bl I have ever watched. The setting is just amazing to see having never been exposed to thai history, it was very new and it was interesting to get to know this new world I have never seen before. This series has a lot of happy and sad moments and I cried so much watching the ending, it was simply beautiful. Although I did feel like something was missing at the end, it left me wanting more and I wished they would have spent at least 10 more minutes to better develop the ending and give us more clarity. Watching the special episode after didn’t really help either, and I was a bit disappointed from that since it doesn’t play into the plot at all and is considered a non canon event. Although again, from the first episode I already knew this series was going to be great and it got me hooked right away. It’s very dramatic but very heartwarming at the same time, I really enjoyed this series and I recommend it to people who love a good romantic story while also being able to immerse yourself into a new world and become attached to well written characters.Was this review helpful to you?
